Health & Safety: Posters and emergency phones are available and around canpus. Campus cops are around and often seen.

Health & Safety: You see the campus police more in the parking areas. However, the health center is very well done and useful for students.

Health & Safety: UAA is located in the UMed District, across the street from the main hospital in Anchorage. We get some very strange non student individuals that wander around, particularly near the library. There have been a lot of attempted rape or assault on campus, with a handful of actual assaults.
