College Student

Academics: I have not actually started. I don't begin til fall 2014.

College Student

Academics: So far I've been very impressed with the academics offered. I'm excited the coming semester and I look forward to the classes offered.

3 College Sophomore

Academics: Here at UAA, there are some classes that aren't related to your major, but is still require to graduate.

3 College Junior

Academics: Some teachers are better than others but they all seem genuinely interested in their students and helping us to succeed.

3 College Freshman

Academics: UAF has a much better B.S. Biological Science program, but I did not go there because it is too cold, for me at least. Some of the professors suck. A lot. But once a student finds that professor that teaches in a way that just clicks, the class seems ten times easier, but its still not really easier. Because UAA is an Alaskan school, the emphasis goes to Wildlife Biology, not Medical-based Biology usually, but we do have highly competitive programs such as WWAMI and ANSEP that compensate for it.
