Weather: Alabama doesn't know how to prepare for snow.

3 College Freshman

Weather: Rainy days are bad because of having to walk to class.

5 College Freshman

Weather: It's the South so the weather is bad for about 2 months tops. Coming from Chicago it's almost like being on vacation the whole year!

4 College Student

Weather: it varies, but the winters are relatively mild and short

4 College Sophomore

Weather: It may be hard to get use to for the non-Alabamians. Alabama weather changes very frequently. One day it can be cold and rainy, the next day sunny and 75 degrees. I like Alabama weather.

Hot! Hot! Hot! If you like it hot, then Bama's weather is perfect for you. The summers are hot and humid, so bring shorts and flip-flops. UA students cool off during the summers by going to the pool, so make sure to bring a swim suit. The winters are cold, but it rarely snows. Students recommend sweaters and jeans, but heavy coats and scarves are not needed. An article of clothing you will need year-round at Bama is a raincoat or an umbrella. Rain comes and goes in the most random times.

It is "Alabama weather." This is the best way students can explain Tuscaloosa. Alabama weather is always changing at random times. One morning you can be wearing a T-shirt and jeans, and the next, you need a sweater. The best advice is to bring clothes for all occasions. The South is very humid, so prepare yourself for hot weather and never forget to have your raincoat nearby.
