Guys & Girls: I think the girls here are a little overrated by some. But there is a huge amount of incredibly beautiful girls here.

Southern gentlemen and Southern belles swarm around this campus like bees around a hive. There are more girls than guys here, and the guys say they're in heaven, but the girls aren't complaining, either. You won't find everyone to be a supermodel, but don't fret if that's what you're into. There's plenty of eye-candy to go around. With so many hot students roaming about, it is easy to hook up. Walk to class or take a walk around the Quad and check out all the hotties that Bama has to offer-they're everywhere! The guys at the business school enjoy a reputation for hotness, and the girls are just gorgeous in general.

The students are just as hot as the weather is in Alabama. Some students say that a lot of students look alike, although they don't seem to mind too much. Fraternity boys and sorority girls have a specific look to them, although this isn't unattractive. Most take pride in their appearance, and overall, the school has many beautiful people. The "snottiness" of these beautiful people, however, may be proportionate to their looks, so watch out.

Social Scene
This is Alabama, and UA is full of Southern hospitality. The students are very interactive and usually very outspoken. If freshmen are ever lost around campus, they shouldn't be afraid to ask someone for help. And if you missed a day of class, then just ask someone near you for notes. Don't be scared of this campus-the students are very friendly and willing to help. Outside of class, most students are busy participating in organizations or hanging out on the Strip. If you want to become more social at UA, join a club or an intramural sport. These are great ways to meet new people.
Hookups or Relationships?
There are just as many students in a relationships as there are not. Usually, the younger students are not as involved in serious relationships as the older ones. The younger students are generally wrapped up in the overwhelming social scene and are too busy meeting people than settling down, although this is not true for everyone. Most UA students recommend spending your first year on campus meeting other students and developing friendships.
Best Places to Meet Guys/Girls
If students are looking to find that special someone, then student organizations that interest them are usually the best place to look. This is a good way to find other students that are into the same things you are. Intramural sports are also a good way to meet people on campus, but usually students are so involved in the game that there is not too much socializing going on. Meeting guys and girls on campus is as easy as going to class. A lot of students meet for the first time in their classes because it's so easy to start up a conversation. Simply ask someone if you can borrow a pen or if they could help you study. If you prefer someplace more social, then the Strip is a good place to meet other students. However, house parties are probably the number-one way students find hotties, since it's the best atmosphere to get to know someone.
Dress Code
The dress code on campus is usually the same for everyone-laid-back. Most of the students come to class in jeans and T-shirts. But going out on the town entails a whole different wardrobe. For social events, most students dress up according to the occasion. At UA, there's a stereotypical dress code for the Greek students. Students believe you can tell who is Greek by what they wear. Chances are, if they're wearing a button-down polo, a Northface jacket, or sunglasses around their neck, they're considered to be fratastic, another word for being Greek.
