5 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: I love the atmosphere the university puts off. During home football games, there are thousands of people outside tailgating and supporting the college and it truly is amazing.

3 College Sophomore

Majors: I wish there was a law major. I am hoping to have an internship during the summer of 2015. I made the mistake of not applying for an internship this past summer and I deeply regret my decision.

4 College Sophomore

Majors: It was not too hard or difficult for me to get into The University of Alabama, however it is extremely difficult to earn a scholarship for me. It seems to be easy for everyone else.

3 College Sophomore

Greek Life: Greek students seem to non-Greek students ordinary

4 College Senior

Campus Strictness: Dishonesty is not tolerated. Cooperation is expected.

4 College Senior

Health & Safety: The campus works hard to keep everyone safe. Campus police sends emails regarding any possible dangers, including weather alerts, and how one should respond to possible threats.

Majors: Everyone I have dealt with is friendly and doesn't mind questions. The University Registrar site "Ask Big Al' can answer most of your questions.

4 College Senior

Majors: It's a lot of work, and requires determination and diligence to stay focused when learning by distance. Some people think the distance programs at colleges are a cop-out, but let me tell you, they are top notch and require just as much out of you as if you were sitting in their classroom in person.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: the profs like to engage the students in discussion and application of the material.

University of Alabama students constantly brag about their school’s traditions and spirit, and their pride is shown throughout the town. Some say it’s the incredible education that drew them here, and others say it’s Bama football that brought them to this Southern school. But no matter what reason these students choose to come to UA, most believe it was the best choice they could have made.

After graduation, some students get a job, some further their education by going to UA’s grad school, and some even go to UA’s law school. No matter what the students decide to do with their future, they believe Bama has prepared them for it. Students advise upcoming freshmen to walk around the Quad, visit the Strip, or watch a football game to understand why so many love UA.
