Computers: Good computer even when the are not new, the printing lab is very useful, and there is network every where.

Computers: There are lots of places were you could use the computer here in Turabo, in the library, labs and in class.

Universidad del Turabo has a very big computer lab just in front of the library. It has a large amount of computers with Microsoft Windows XP pre-installed. These computers are equipped with some important software that you will need to know in order to be successful in your career. Some examples include Microsoft Office, Visual Studio, and the Adobe suite. All of the computers at the University have a LAN connection, and you just need to sign in with your student ID to use a machine.

On the other hand, if you prefer to use your own computer, the University is conveniently equipped with Wi-Fi access in almost any spot on campus. If you prefer a more quiet space, there is a laptop computer desk with electric plugs close to the computer lab. Universidad del Turabo students have access to discounted software and DreamSpark, which offers free access to Microsoft commercial applications, such Visual Studio, Windows, and others.
