Transportation: BWI is a 20 minute drive away. If you can find a ride from someone or your sponsor family can take you, its great. If not, you'll have to shell out around $50 for a cab. The nearest Amtrak train stop is at BWI too. There's a free shuttle bus in downtown Annapolis, but you have to pay to take a bus to the nearby mall. Most stuff in Annapolis is within walking distance of the main gate though. Most upperclass will give you a ride if you need one.

Transportation: from airport to the yard requires a supper shuttle ($25-30) or catching a ride. Most students have a sponsor family that will pick them up. transportation to DC or most places requires a car or bumming a ride. Bus and train are too inconvenient.

Transportation: Just Walk – All the academic buildings and dorms are within a 10 minute walk of each other so that limits the need for on-campus transportation. Your best bet for off-campus transportation is to just walk. Most things you would need can be found in downtown Annapolis. If you need to make a trip farther away, you can take a cab but they are kind of pricey.
