Local Atmosphere: Annapolis is a really nice place to visit, it is not a nice place to live. The streets are incredibly small and crowded and there is minimal parking. But there are plenty of things to do and places to see. Baltimore and DC are a thirty minute drive away.

Local Atmosphere: Great Town Hard School – Annapolis is afun town. Great bars and places to eat. The school itself is pretty if you don't have to live there!!Hard academically.

3 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: Annapolis is said to be the sailing capital of the world. During the summer it lives up to its billings. On the other hand, during the winter Annapolis slows down and the tourist industry all but shuts down leaving the streets a bit empty at times. One of the benefits of being an upper class at the Naval Academy is the freedom to go more than 22 miles away from the Naval Academy Chapel when your out and about. This allows upper class to take advantage of Annapolis' proximity to Washington D.C. and Baltimore. Overall the local atmosphere is what you would expect of a college town.
