Academics: The Naval Academy has a top notch academic program. Your classes are challenging and competitive with Ivy league schools. However, with the large core curriculum (you graduate with a Bachelor of Science regardless of your major, humanities or not) there isn't a lot of freedom for electives. And anyone who doesn't major in a STEM related area, has to take a language. The engineering program is really challenging but is also one of the best in the country.

Academics: it is exceedingly rigorous but worth it!

Academics: you wont find a finer education or professors devoted to your success anywhere else. the work load is extreme, but you get out what you put in!

Academics: The United States Naval Academy provides ample opportunity to receive help from instructors. I have never been in a class that was tough by a professor's assistant. My freshman calculus 1 course was taught by a math Ph.d. Professors are often available for extra instruction and are helpful for the most part. Class sizes are also generally small.

Academics: It is one of the best schools in the country, hands down. Every single Midshipman receives a BS and the required courses for every student range from 2 semesters of Chemistry, 2 semesters of Physics, Thermo, Electrical Engineering, Leadership & Ethics courses...etc.
