Tuition & Financial Aid: Applying for financial aid is easy here. You just have to be on top of them to make sure you receive it in time.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The FAFSA paid for my three semesters of college in between my transition from Albright College to getting accepted to Rutgers. Financial Aid office is great and they are very helpful, they help and facilitate the process of students, like me, that are in unique and difficult circumstances.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid office does everything in their power to make it work for their students. If there is a will there's a way.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I received a small amount of financial aid my freshman year but as of now, I'm eligible for none. I have taken out a loan for this 2013-2014 school year. The tuition is based on your classes, the fee for tutors, guidance counseling, basic health insurance only if you want it, and if you drive a parking badge. My tip for getting financial aid at my school is to basically be dirt poor, other than that scholarships and grants are your only way out of loans.

Financial aid is generally pretty easy to get. If you are just trying to get a free ride through college, you are probably not going to end up getting it. If you geniunely need financial assistance, you will most likely be able to get it. The process is pretty slow, but the more committed you are, the sooner you will get it done.

At the Financial Aid Office, the lines are almost always long, unless you go at the perfect time. The employees usually are not the friendliest, unless you catch them on a good day. Some are very nice, but most of them just want to go home and be done with their workload. This seems to be the case throughout the campus. Once you get through the paperwork, financial aid is usually within your grasp.
