5 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: My school is really flexible, they have a wide range of classes available.

3 College Student

Academic Experience: It's a lot of hard work to do but you're learning so it's fine with me!

4 College Student

Academic Experience: The nursing program is affiliated with the hospital I currently work in as a Certified Nursing Assistant. It's cool how they have a mini hospital right in the college campus so we can get our clinical experience.

4 College Student

Tuition & Financial Aid: I am very thankful to have been accepted into the EOF program. They are my second family.

3 College Student

Facilities: we have many fantastic programs but i don't know much about it since i don't participate in the clubs. but from how it sounds and looks on the news and as i hear from those who are involved, they are interesting.

3 College Student

Campus Resources: i enjoy participating in our school events. we like to have so much fun while we learn .

4 College Student

Online Courses: Since I am an EOF student, the advantages of being in that program is phenomenal! My counselors help me with the registration process and it was really informative. Now I can do pretty much on my own and I help others learn what I did. The relationship between professors and students are great so far. I feel good about going to college and getting an education, I just need scholarships or grants to help me fund for my nursing classes.

3 College Student

Career Services: I notice the nursing students get right to work after graduation. which is fabulous!

3 College Student

Campus Resources: computers are a bit slow but the techs help us ASAP.

4 College Student

Student Body: I have not met any crazy or racist employee, staff, or student there. I love everyone there. It is a friendly place to be. We all like to help one another.

3 College Student

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid process is okay, the staff are not friendly or compassionate when it comes to past due balances.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: The library is great, plenty of room to always find a quiet place to study. Parking if horrible though, you can never find a spot and may have to park and take a shuttle.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: A large amount of computers available for use and also allow borrowing laptops.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: I had to send my official transcripts three times to my school since they were not giving me credit for a few classes. Finally when i went in person to see a counselor, he was able to give me proper credit for classes taken.

College Junior

Career Services: Have not explored those options yet.

4 College Junior

Online Courses: I enjoyed taking a Pschychology course online over the summer. The fact that i could study and review class material on my time was great. It allowed for great flexibility and required no travel time thus i was able to use that time to study instead.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: There is a very good bookstore at Cranford campus.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: There is great wi fi network at this school and the speed is very fast

3 College Junior

Student Body: In my ESL class almost everybody is from different country.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: Everybody is very friendly and helpful at my school.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: My classes are in early morning and my work starts around noon. It's very convenient for me because I can attend my classes every day.

At Union County College, there are a few drawbacks, such as a lack of a sense of belonging, uncommitted students, difficult administration, and parking. However, there are still a lot of positives, such as the resources available to students, excellent professors, tutoring programs, cost-effectiveness, and the College's diversity. The huge selection of clubs and societies gives students plenty of things to do to keep themselves busy. No new student should have any problem finding something he or she is interested in. County College opens a lot of doors, including scholarships to four-year schools and connections with professors. The knowledge students gain and the things they experience make them stronger and more well-rounded individuals.

County College is certainly not the same experience as a four-year school, but both sides have their positives and negatives. Community college is a great way to save money and then move on to a four-year school. An education is necessary in today's society, and County College is a leap in the right direction toward a bright, educational future.
