College Senior

Academic Flexibility: I never had to transfer credits and i'm just going through the motions

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: I'm not upset all the time but I am lonely if at least one of my few friends don't show up. Socially its very upsetting (saddening) at times. If i had the money to go somewhere else, I definitely would.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: I don't really have much to say, I just feel like I'm taking classes and going through the motions

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: Most of everyone is a nursing student, Psych major, or a Chem major

3 College Senior

Student Body: The student body is a melting pot, however 90% of people keep to themselves.

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: Everything is pretty open and accepting, the resources work and campus activities are kind of lame and far in between

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: Everything is pretty set. you may lose wireless connection here and there but its great

College Senior

Online Courses: I never took an online class. I chose it as a waste of times simply because it was the only thing i could choose that was close to saying that

College Senior

Career Services: i have no knowledge of these things

3 College Senior

Facilities: Well, the only thing unique at our school is a small pocket of students that will go out of their way to talk to you and or dress uniquely

Tuition & Financial Aid: I received a small amount of financial aid my freshman year but as of now, I'm eligible for none. I have taken out a loan for this 2013-2014 school year. The tuition is based on your classes, the fee for tutors, guidance counseling, basic health insurance only if you want it, and if you drive a parking badge. My tip for getting financial aid at my school is to basically be dirt poor, other than that scholarships and grants are your only way out of loans.

Online Courses: I really like taking online courses, because you can do the work at your speed.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The process of applying for financial aid is very easy.

Academic Flexibility: My school is really flexible, they have a wide range of classes available.

3 College Student

Academic Experience: It's a lot of hard work to do but you're learning so it's fine with me!

Academic Experience: The nursing program is affiliated with the hospital I currently work in as a Certified Nursing Assistant. It's cool how they have a mini hospital right in the college campus so we can get our clinical experience.

4 College Student

Tuition & Financial Aid: I am very thankful to have been accepted into the EOF program. They are my second family.

3 College Student

Facilities: we have many fantastic programs but i don't know much about it since i don't participate in the clubs. but from how it sounds and looks on the news and as i hear from those who are involved, they are interesting.

3 College Student

Campus Resources: i enjoy participating in our school events. we like to have so much fun while we learn .

3 College Student

Campus Resources: computers are a bit slow but the techs help us ASAP.

4 College Student

Online Courses: Since I am an EOF student, the advantages of being in that program is phenomenal! My counselors help me with the registration process and it was really informative. Now I can do pretty much on my own and I help others learn what I did. The relationship between professors and students are great so far. I feel good about going to college and getting an education, I just need scholarships or grants to help me fund for my nursing classes.

3 College Student

Career Services: I notice the nursing students get right to work after graduation. which is fabulous!

4 College Student

Student Body: I have not met any crazy or racist employee, staff, or student there. I love everyone there. It is a friendly place to be. We all like to help one another.

3 College Student

Overall Experience: we have four campuses filled with amazing people

2 Recent Alumnus

Campus Resources: there's not enough computers and the network is really slow

At Union County College, there are a few drawbacks, such as a lack of a sense of belonging, uncommitted students, difficult administration, and parking. However, there are still a lot of positives, such as the resources available to students, excellent professors, tutoring programs, cost-effectiveness, and the College's diversity. The huge selection of clubs and societies gives students plenty of things to do to keep themselves busy. No new student should have any problem finding something he or she is interested in. County College opens a lot of doors, including scholarships to four-year schools and connections with professors. The knowledge students gain and the things they experience make them stronger and more well-rounded individuals.

County College is certainly not the same experience as a four-year school, but both sides have their positives and negatives. Community college is a great way to save money and then move on to a four-year school. An education is necessary in today's society, and County College is a leap in the right direction toward a bright, educational future.
