Facilities: It help you focus on the training for the job alongside book work. They really help to acclimate their students to the work force they're training for.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid office is very helpful and is considerate when it comes to paying for tuition. The only snag I have come across is Tulsa Tech will not accept the loans I was awarded through FAFSA, only Pell which I was awarded very little..

Overall Experience: Getting in the nursing program was very competitive, but I'm so proud I was accepted

5 College Junior

Facilities: The campus is fairly new and is very ascetically pleasing.

Student Body: There is a wide variety, even high school kids attending as dual enrollment students. They all seem pleasant and like they enjoy the campus.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Tuition is reasonable and the financial aid office and staff are very helpful and want you to do well.

Online Courses: We are mainly in-class work, we have some online however

Tuition & Financial Aid: It's Broken Down by Block – Nursing is a great field to go into and I feel like I'm making a great investment. Tulsa Tech is very competitvely priced.

Academic Experience: There Is a Lot of Disorganization – THe original instructor didn't teach the class as planned, we had a substitute that really didn't know what she was doing, it was very unstructured. The nice thing is we get to work on homework at school which helps because I work 40 hours a week and am a single mom.

Campus Resources: I really don't know how to rate this because I don't participate in this

Campus Resources: It's Great – I have absolutely no problems with the computer network

Tuition & Financial Aid: Cash up Front – Currently, I'm enrolled to start my CNA which starts 2-21-12. This is a prerequiste for the Practical Nursing Program that starts in the fall. However, I don't know if I'll be able to attend on 2-21-12 because you have to pay cash, credit card, etc. before being enrolled which is 284.50 there is no Financial Aid and I'm waiting on income tax and by then the class could be filled, thus causing me to wait another 4 weeks. I wish there was some type of loan you could take or promissory not.

Student Body: All Ages Welcome – My school is very diverse. From the older adults to the students that are still attending high school. Mostly everyone in my class is in their late 20's or older. Most have children and most of us are also single parents. There are a few people that are married, they just waited til they were a little older to decide to attend school. We all get along great, which is a huge plus. I think it helps that we are all in the same situations or have been there.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Catch 22 – I was told that my school is funded by city taxes. Therefore, they don't offer student loans like traditional colleges do. I have been awarded a pell grant, but it's not nearly enough to cover all my tuition and books. It is cheaper than a few schools around that have LPN programs, so that's a plus. I call it a catch 22 because the education and lower tuition cost are worth it, but at the same time, if you for some reason can't get a pell grant, your stuck trying to find ways such as personal loans and or schloarships to help cover the cost.

Campus Resources: High Tech Equipment – My school has some incredible state of the art equipment in the skills labs. The dummies we practice on move, blink their eyes, have pulse points and too much other stuff to list.

Career Services: I believe there is a 93% passing rate at my school. The teaches are willing to help you so dont get behind and the work you do prepares you for the real world

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: Computer Access – In our class room, everydesk has a computer. Most of our work is on a computer. It has all of the microsoft tools a student needs and testing is also done on the computer.

2 College Junior

Campus Resources: Self Pace – Alot of the adult programs here have theme, complete your work on your own schedule. They pretty much give you a book and say, read the whole book, complete all the assignments and tests by a certain date. Then its up to you where to begin, how long to stay on one subject and so forth by the graduation. Its very interesting but difficult at the same time.
