For upcoming college students who are interested in furthering their education while also learning more about Christ, Truett McConnell is the place to be. I will admit that initially this university was my last choice given I am an athlete and had other offers to other institutions. While being here, I have had my ups in downs physically and mentally, but in the end I am so thankful I came here. I have made life long friends that I truly cannot see life without. I grew in my faith while being here, and that is more important to me above everything else. Some may look at the school and know about some of the rules they enforce and turn away, but in the grand scheme of things it is not that bad. Being focused in your studies and walk with Christ while also growing in relationships with friends is the main focus. I am so grateful for Truett McConnell!
I like the school, some people have stronger opinions about things than others. It is diverse and you make good friendships, but the professors are not the best.
I find it is a very holistic and enlightening experience to go to Truett, it being a Christian college. I like how all curriculums are based around the Bible and the way they are well-invested in your path to your career. If I had to change anything, it would be the fact that they focus more on athletics and advertisements in the way of funding rather than on academic programs.
