5 College Freshman

Academics: The best, in all honesty TLC is the best

5 College Freshman

Campus Housing: I dont live on campus

4 College Freshman

Drug Safety: I havent seen anything yet

3 College Freshman

Weather: The weather is something we've all have got to get used too.

3 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: Everett is a growing city with an old city charm. The dorms are close to the Everett Public Library. Outside this library there are lots of homeless people hanging out. It is very scary at night so it is always advised to have an exit buddy. There isn't shopping nearby (like walking distance) but there is the Everett Mall. The Comcast Arena is nearby and has hockey games and a community ice rink. The hockey games are very pricey but fun. No cultural events what so ever. Even though TLC prides themselves as a diverse school.

4 College Freshman

Drug Safety: Drugs are not allowed on campus and inside the dorms. The RA's are chill but the RD lays down the law. Recently one of the RA's turned himself in because he was drinking in the dorms. He was dismissed from his RA duties.

5 College Junior

Diversity: Trinity is an extremely small and diverse school. They are always very accepting of people from every background and race. Even though we are a Christian school, we are accepting of all religious backgrounds.

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: Romios is a less than two minute walk from the school and my favorite restaurant. Dine in experiences are the best (pizza ordered to go it usually too greasy). The cost is very good for the quality of amount of food!

Tokyo Teriyaki is a very popular restaurant for students! It has great prices and students can even use money from their meal plan to pay. the food is incredible!

There are countless cafés within a block or two from the school along with great pizza places!

5 College Sophomore

Diversity: We have less than 200 students and have several different races/ethnicities and religions.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: They like to give money to get the students they are interested in, but there isn't always enough money.

4 College Sophomore

Majors: im in the Early childhood program, it's very hands on and classes are small. Sometimes the workload can be crazy, but fun. All the professors are suppportive and work with you. An internship is required, which open door to other oppurtunities.

1 College Junior

Nightlife: Besides a few bars in downtown Everett, the Nightlife doesn't exist. Most of the student body is made up of minors thus the party scene is private and kept away from curious adults.

3 College Junior

Diversity: While Trinity Lutheran is a Christian school, there are many who attend the school with unique beliefs and values. TLC is an extremely diverse school with students coming from many countries.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: Its unique with the apartments. Off the top, you get what its like to be an adult.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: Its school. You do stupid stuff, it catches up to you. Keep your head on straight and you'll be fine.

3 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: I'd say the people here are average. There are a few outliers, but mostly average.

3 College Freshman

Facilities: It's a small campus but everyone get a free membership to the YMCA so everyone has a facility to get their sweat on. The commons are a great place to hang out with everyone during lunch but usually it's very clear for other activities as well. There's a lot of parks really close to the campus and apartments to play tennis or just hangout.

4 College Freshman

Facilities: The teachers offer one on one opportunities all the time, so any student feeling left behind is always given chances to catch up. Students also benefit from personal attention with Trinity's low 7:1 student-to-faculty ratio. The small campus makes it good for a small community type feel so you know everyone pretty well. Knowing everyone lets you feel comfortable with studying more often. It's a good overall atmosphere.

2 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: The RA's are usually real chill but the rules at the school are a little strick about drinking and drug use, like all colleges usually are. It's really no surprise that they wouldn't want that type of activity on school grounds or the apartment buildings. The only police that students deal with are the ones in the city, so don't mess around. Be discreet and invite good friends only when you hang out. Unless you live off campus, there's nothing too big to do.

3 College Senior

Academics: My major is early childhood education and it is a great program to be a part of here because the school has an onsite preschool. This has given me the chance to practice things that I have learned in the classroom in real situations with early learners. The workload has never been to rigorous and challenging, but it definitely gets more demanding as you reach completion of your degree. Internship opportunities are endless here and some people have gone as far as Africa!

Academics: Professors are one of the greatest highlight of Trinity Lutheran College. They are very knowledgeable about what they teach and truly care about the students. They are easy to get a hold of for help because of the small college atmosphere. The curriculum for each area of study differs in difficulty and workload, but overall I would say it is average for a small college. The registration process is simple and all professors and staff members work hard for the students to get the education they want.

5 College Junior

Academics: I just switched majors to communications. It looks really challenging, but extremely educational. The teachers are all doctorates, who run the program, and have extensive knowledge in statistics, research methods, etc. I'm looking forward to learning from them. Then, their teachings will set me up for my college-supplied internship next fall so that I can work somewhere in the community, and practice the skills I've obtained. My workload isn't too much of a hassle right now because I transferred in about a month ago (before fall semester), but next semester it will be much more intensive. I'm looking forward to the opportunities that are being extended to me from Trinity Lutheran College.

Campus Housing: Apartment Living Is the Best – Living on campus is amazing. Our apartments, are a bit old, but we don't live in a box but in an apartment where you have a bathroom you only have to share with, at most, 3 other people. We can cook as much as we want in our full kitchens.

3 College Freshman

Nightlife: Everyone really gets along. WE have dances at schools and they have arcade like games down stairs and it is open till 11. there are a lot of parties, but be careful so not get caught

3 College Freshman

Athletics: New Program – There is only soccer as of right now, but golf and cross counry is on its way for fall 2011. The students are very involeved being such as small school. They have a lot of school spirit for our size. The facilities are not where they should be, but it is being worked on quickly. the two teams are very very good!
