4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Love the school because the teacher's really care and will make time if you need it for any additional instruction or help!

Tuition & Financial Aid: I am poor enough that I qualify for a Pell Grant, which pays my tuition and books, and then some left over. I have also applied for and received several smaller scholarships ($100 to $1000).

Academic Experience: I am currently enrolled in the Animal Assisted Interactions program (Human Services field), and I love it! It's the only program of it's type in my entire state, and one of a handful in the country! I am so excited to have such a unique opportunity that is so well suited to my personality, in my own backyard! The workload is fair, and my animal classes are a lot of fun! I get to bring my dog to class and train him in school, what could be better?!

Academic Experience: The professors are amazing....always willing to help you if you need it. Classes are small enough that professors get to know their students names, personalities, strengths, weaknesses, etc. Small class size is one of my favorite things about Tri-County. We get to have regular class discussions because there are at most 25-30 in a class, not 150 like large universities. I get personal attention and hands on time with professors when needed!

2 College Junior

Facilities: This is a community college, a place to take classes, not a place to hang out.

Online Courses: I honestly HATE online classes, I feel it's a way to just get "the piece of paper that says I can work", not a way to actually learn the subject matter. The only time I take online courses is if it is the only way a required class is offered, or if it is for an "easy" or "throw away" class that I don't real feel is important to my education.

Academic Flexibility: I have found that at this college, if you want to succeed the teachers and staff will do anything they can to help you do so!

4 College Junior

Career Services: We have a career center that keeps students apprised of job opportunities via email and messaging! We also take the CRC for free!

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: There aren't really a lot of resources, the library staff is extremely helpful though!

Student Body: This is a community college in a small town, so I would say the most diversity actually occurs across age groups. There are more female students than male (at least in my classes). There are many older students, adults looking to change careers, earn a degree, get off of minimum wage, etc. Everyone has been friendly so far.

Overall Experience: Overall the school has been a positive part of my life.

3 College Senior

Facilities: The school is nice because of the small classroom sizes.

3 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: I have had the typical college experience.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: I have been mostly satisfied with my college education.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: The academics offered are in line with other colleges in my state.

3 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The college makes it easy to access financial aid.

3 College Senior

Career Services: I haven't really had to use the career services yet, but I hear that they are available and well informed.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: Our student labs and library are good.

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: Our fiber optic network system is excellent. Students may print in classrooms, the library, and student labs.

3 College Senior

Student Body: The school is accepting and kind to all.

Facilities: Really the cosmetics of the school are modern and inviting but the professors set this school apart for me. They are just amazing and so helpful, they just make my schooling very pleasant. There are also several programs to study that are very interesting and would like to experience more than just Therapeutic Massage, if I get the chance.

5 College Senior

Campus Resources: They have several campus activities that go on. Unfortunately I don't get a chance to participate as much as I would like since I have 3 little kids at home to take care of. The libraries are very useful attributes. The campus is very inviting.

5 College Senior

Campus Resources: they have several labs that contain everything you need to be successful. This includes tutors, computers, wifi, snack machines, printers, etc. All of the equipment has been reliable so far.

Overall Experience: The professors have really made my college experience thus far absolutely amazing. Joan Ledford is funny and has so much information its wonderful. She makes learning fun and when you ask a question she makes sure that you understand her answer before moving on. Which is really nice.
Julie Brown is also amazing. She not only teaches what we need to know but also things that will enhance our success in the massage business. I just cant say enough about how wonderful these ladies are.
I would certainly choose this school again because of the professors and the people in the offices have made my college experience so far very pleasant.

Academic Experience: I really enjoy the Therapeutic Massage program that I am in. The work load isn't that bad can be stressful since I am married and have 3 children under the age of 5. With out those distractions I would be breezing through my courses. the teachers are amazing, helpful, so informative, and totally down to earth. They make learning easy, fun, and you feel like you have actually learned something. I come home and tell my husband and kids all about my the new information I have learned. The facilities are inviting and contain all the materials you need to help be successful in your classes. Computer labs, printers, internet, wifi, tutors, snack machines for those long study days, library, friendly faces, and so much more is what you find to aid in your success. The job opportunities after graduating are an awesome thing to have to help in providing for my family as fast as possible.
