4 College Freshman

Online Courses: My school uses Blackboard, which provides a means if communicating with teachers and classmates. It includes such feature as a calendar with up-to-date deadlines, to-do lists, discussion boards, and announcements.

Academic Experience: Many of the English classes I would like to take at my school are not available. Many of the students here are in the nursing program or are just taking general courses.

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: For the most part, the instructors are friendly, organized, and engaging. I've had a few teachers who habitually came to class unprepared, read word-for-word from the book for lecture, and did not try to make the material interesting, but this is rare at my school.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid process at my school is tedious and poorly organized. Every semester, I struggle with staff members to determine exactly what documents I need and when. Given that such documents can take weeks to gather from various sources coupled with the impending financial aid deadline, the beginning of the semester is always a stressful time for me. I recommend that new students start the process early so as to anticipate any unforeseen obstacles.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The Financial aid office could be better and help students out more.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The value of education I'm paying I'm receiving is worth the tuition I paid.

3 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I wish the financial aid would be more to help people who really cant afford college.

5 College Senior

Academic Experience: I am going for Medical Administrative Assistant and it is basically like medical terms, billing and coding, and so on. The workload is not as much as I thought but it is time consuming.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: It is pretty simple and self explanatory. I never had a problem with academics.

5 College Senior

Online Courses: It has been the best thing that I have ever chosen to do in the last few years that I have went to TCC.

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: There is a library, a pretty big one. They just recently built and open up a student center. They also have resources to help students that are struggling.

5 College Senior

Campus Resources: The network at school couldn't be any better.

4 College Senior

Student Body: The people are there are there for one reason, for education and to better themselves and get a better job.

3 College Senior

Career Services: I haven't really seen career centers at the school, but I know they hold job fairs.

3 College Senior

Facilities: I really don't see anything that is unique about the school.

4 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: I have enjoyed working with the instructors and learning the material by knowledge. I would rather be learning with hands on as well.
