1 College Sophomore

Transportation: There is no public transportation around my school. I do not have a car so I cannot get into town to work. It's awful.

2 College Freshman

Transportation: They have mini buses for events but not much else. You can call a taxi from school and they will come pick you up.

College Junior

Transportation: i drive to school because i live an hour away. i'm not sure about other transportation on campus.

2 College Sophomore

Transportation: Well, it only sucks if you don't have a car (like me.) But, there are plenty of people that have cars and most things are close by. You don't need to be ms/mr popular for one of your friends to have a car. especially if you're a freshmen. They have a mini-bus once a month, or something like that, that goes to Wal-Mart, but that's about it. Taxi's are only $6.50 a ride to anywhere in the area (I think), so if you have to go to a bus station to go back home, it's cheap.

3 College Sophomore

Transportation: Many Ways to Get Around – There is the Walmart Wednesday bus that takes students to and from Walmart across town every Wednesday around 4 or 4:30pm. Thomas has a car that students can sign out/ rent for a certain period of time to take them to areas around town. There are also some taxi that can be called for use.

Students who do not have a car on campus still have different opportunities to go into town. There are Thomas mini-buses that go to Wal-Mart—students call it “Wal-Mart Wednesday” because the mini-bus usually goes to the store on a Wednesday. There is also a shopping plaza within walking distance from campus.

In addition, there is a bus station near campus and multiple taxi services that are available throughout the Waterville area. However, most students have friends with cars, and they go out together. Carpooling is the norm at Thomas.
