4 College Sophomore

Athletics: It is nice for both athletes and non-athletes always very clean.

3 College Freshman

Athletics: They have most of the well known sports on campus like soccer, softball, basketball, baseball, men and women's lacrosse. But they don't have track and field or any kind of swimming.

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: Student involvement in athletics is pretty high, and team performance is average. Fan support is really only great during basketball games and school spirit is not very recognized. Facilities could be improved; could maybe be bigger.

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: The athletics at Thomas are structured very well. They express the importance of being active and also doing your studies. The athletic director tracks academic progress and makes plans for tutors or other help. They schedule matches around classes and MOST coaches encourage academics over athletics.

Athletics at Thomas are very popular, and it is something that keeps students busy all the time. The student-athletes and the coaches at Thomas are dedicated to their teams, and they are well respected on campus. The support for them in the community is outstanding, as well. The intramural program here is very popular and is growing all the time. There is softball, basketball, flag football, and badminton teams, just to name a few, and the contests are not only fun, but they help students learn about sportsmanship and meet new teammates.

Thomas has a good-sized athletic center with a separate workout room, along with three basketball courts that also serve as tennis courts, and other practice areas for sports teams. Surrounding the courts is a track for walking or running. There are also men's and women's locker rooms with showers, which are very clean at all times, along with the rest of the facility.

School Spirit
Basketball games are almost always packed with students and fans. There is a lot of support for the athletic teams, but the spirit may be lacking a little when it comes to dressing up in school colors and painting faces. However, you can always count on the mascot Tommy the Terrier to get the crowd going during a contest.
Getting Tickets
Students usually get in for free with their ID cards.
Best Place to Take a Walk
There is a walking trail on campus, or students can walk on the track in Harold Alfond Athletic Center or along the road on campus.
