Academics: It's a great collaborative community,

Academics: well... it is a conservatory. High powered academics are not what this school is about. It isn't difficult to get good grades, and the classes are not too difficult. The music instructors, however, are truly phenomenal.

Academics: Great Music Program, Liberal Arts Aren't as Good – NEC has a great music program, but the Liberal Arts Department offers many classes that aren't particularly helpful and demanding.
