3 College Freshman

Campus Dining: nice variety and fresh choices. They have a cafeteria that is above standard.

4 College Junior

Academics: I enrolled at The National Hispanic University for 3 main reasons;

The entire school has this "Familia" like atmosphere, making any one, students, staff and visitors alike, feel welcome and comfortable.

The Attention the professors give their students, being at this school for the past 2 years, I have first hand witness the small classes, and the one on one attention professors give their students. Being in a small class, helps the professor and student alike to have a better and smoother class discussion and lecture.

No waiting list, and easy enrollment. I've been able to take all the classes I need for my general education and most importantly enrolled to the classes I want, not the ones that are available.

4 College Junior

Academics: Being a student at the National Hispanic University has been a quite unique experience. The work load is decent as long as one stays committed, completes all class tasks, knows how to manage their time, and seek help from the professor if needed. I'm thankful over the fact , that the school provides their students with all the tools they need to succeed, if a student needs any help with an assignment, one can seek help from their professor or get help from the many tutors at the Center for College Success.

3 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: Because the ambiance has a feel of high school, most people tend to stay in that phase, although I have meet a few students that contradict that theory i wont have a full scope of the student population because most of them tend to attend night courses due to their busy work or family related schedule.

3 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: the ambiance overall is comforting, a small community and the professors to student ratio is a big plus. They have a student service are and it always has a tutor available. The library is collective and very resourceful. The school is so tidey compared to other larger insititutions.

3 College Junior

Transportation: It is about average, two bus lines travel frequently

5 College Senior

Weather: The weather is very Northern California. The winters are cold but no snow, and the summers are hot to about 87° degrees Fahrenheit. So A light sweater is recomended but not always necessary. Classes never get cancelled due to weather conditions.

College Senior

Nightlife: I take on-line classes and I live in North Carolina.

College Senior

Health & Safety: I take on-line classes and I am in North Carolina.

4 College Senior

Academics: Although I worry about assignments, all of my professors have been great and have gone out of their way when I have had questions for them.

4 College Senior

Academics: The professors are great. They are available to students and are easy to talk to. The curriculum for the Master's in Education is fast paced and there is a lot of work, but this was made very clear while applying for the program. The workload is very heavy, but it is manageable.

5 College Senior

Computers: I take classes on-line and my home computer is one year old with an Intel Core 5 processor.

5 College Freshman

Scholarships: Have an appointment with the TRIO Scholarships Direcrtor, Martha Escalera, she helped me step by step with my scholarships.

4 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: there is a lot around the campus and much to talk about

4 College Freshman

Transportation: the bus and the light rail can drop a student off near by

5 College Freshman

Health & Safety: It is very clean and the people that clean the school does his/her job good.
