Overall Experience at Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising - Los Angeles: The tuition cost is not worth the value of the school it's self but the life experience you get from the school is priceless.

Academic Experience at Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising - Los Angeles: Very few actually good professors. The curriculum needs some editing which I believe they may have for the next graduating class. Registration is very easy. Workload is super heavy. Good study abroad program if you can afford it. Also have a Business management program for after you graduate from your core major.

Academic Experience at Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising - Los Angeles: Fashion design is not for the faint of heart. It is a lot of long hours and expect to have no social life with the mass amount of homework you get every week. The first academic year is fairly easy but the second you get into your core design classes so those are the classes I feel will make or break you. In my case it broke me but it also made me realize design wasn't for me as a profession but more as a hobby. I was starting to hate my major and what I thought I was very passionate about once.

Tuition & Financial Aid at Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising - Los Angeles: If you really think about it the amount it cost to go here for 2 years you could go to a cheaper 4 year school and have your BA vs. your AA.There are only a few teachers that are worth the tuition you pay and it is hard to get into there classes because of there awesome reputation.

Campus Resources at Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising - Los Angeles: It has the biggest fashion library in the US so anything you need to know about fashion it's there. I wish there was an on campus gym and that all the student housing was closing to campus despite the campus being not in the greatest location in Los Angeles.

Overall Experience at Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising - Los Angeles: I needed a job while I was a student I didn't have any luck finding one through the school but it does have a lot of industry connections which would have been good if I would have continued studying fashion design there.

Student Body at Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising - Los Angeles: A lot of the students are rich and flaunt it in your face. Most of the girls are very catty.

Online Courses at Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising - Los Angeles: I took one online course and it was the best online course I've ever taken. The instructor was responsive and helpful. She made everyone read and respond to each others posts which was easy to learn from others.

Academic Experience at Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising - Los Angeles: It's a great amount of everything. Every class is only once a week but for 2 hours and 45 minutes so you definitely get a lot of time to learn what you need to learn.

Academic Experience at Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising - Los Angeles: I'm not too sure about programs aside from classes but I haven't really looked into any. Class registration is super easy to do and to find.

3 College Senior

Student Body at Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising - Los Angeles: People are nice sometimes, but they can be very judgmental of others. A lot of them act spoiled like they're the princess of the school. Althought there are also some really nice genuine people.

Facilities at Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising - Los Angeles: It's rather small but that just helps people learn more because classes aren't so large.

3 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid at Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising - Los Angeles: I like that they provide everything, like supplies, but because it is a private school, the tuition is still a whole lot of money. A lot of repetitive classes that could have been one class.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility at Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising - Los Angeles: Scheduling is okay, getting the class you want is quite a challenge but once you get it, it is easy. And it is easy transferring credits to this school, although only 2 GED classes were transferred over (math and English), so I didn't have to take those classes here.

3 College Sophomore

Student Body at Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising - Los Angeles: Lots of rich Caucasian people that are super fashionable and do what they love.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience at Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising - Los Angeles: I would not go to this school because it is to expensive with not enough reward I could have went to a cheaper college or no college and gained the same knowledge. It sucks!
