Campus Dining: The dining hall has many options but can get repetitive and is often not the best in the way of nutritious choices. Meal equiv is great at the student center, but it's often so crowded you can't even move. The library cafe has starbucks drinks but they're not consistently good.

Campus Dining: The food is not that great but it's ok. I can use my flex dollars and the cafe which has a different variety to chose from.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: On campus dining is decent. There's one main dining hall with a lot of options, and my family always looks forward to move in day so they can eat there - but being that it's the only dining hall, the students do get sick of the food after a while. There's a lot of options to eat healthy, and there's a late night dining spot in one of the dorms with mainly fried food for students who've had a long night either partying or studying.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: There's a lot of different places to eat, and Meal Equiv is the greatest. My friends who have visited from other schools always comment on how nice our main dining hall is. It can get really crowded during busy meal times, but the food is fine if you wait.

4 College Freshman

Campus Dining: The dining hall has a variety of foods. There are always different options for whatever mood you are in to eat.

TCNJ Dining Services provides students with many dining options on campus. The main dining hall, Eickhoff, is supported by student meal plans that offer swipe points or unlimited entry into the dining hall. Eickhoff hosts a salad bar, a deli-style sandwich bar, a wok, a grill, a pizza oven, desserts, home-style cooking, a soup stand, tacos, and burritos. Students with carte blanche meal plans may also take advantage of the student center's cafeteria, the Rathskellar restaurant, or the Library Café during meal equivalency, getting up to $6.25 of their meal covered by their meal plan from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Eickhoff Hall's alternatives include the Library Café, The Rathskellar, the student center cafeteria, and the Travers-Wolfe cafeteria. The Library Café generally has a selection of sandwiches and desserts, along with coffee, tea, and energy drink options. Students find it ideal to get some of their food here during the midterm and finals crunch times. The Rathskellar is a bar and restaurant that serves beer to students 21-and-up and often hosts comedians, poets, rocks bands, and hip-hop artists—almost all from the local student population. Here, you may find a selection of dishes that are more or less similar to your average American bar-and-grill menu. The student center cafeteria offers a large selection of sandwiches, finger foods, and healthy options like sushi. Finally, the Travers-Wolfe cafeteria offers dinner and late-night snack options to students. Since it's open late, it is a favorite of students during the midterm and finals crunch time. Students also have the option of using their points on items at the Marketplace Convenience Store and the student center's bookstore. Both have an array of canned and microwavable foods, snack bars, protein, and drinks.
