Off-Campus Housing: Living off campus is great. But finding a place is a hassle. Beware of realtors trying to manipulate inexperienced college students.

Campus Dining: We share with the Berklee cafeteria. It has great food, but the hours are inconvenient for many BoCo Students.

Local Atmosphere: Boston has everything. From Fenway Park to Newbury Street, the North End to the Aquarium, Cambridge and beyond, this is the place to be.

Majors: There is no better place to be if you're a musical theater major. When you enter the New York audition scene, you are prepared as you can be, thanks to the awesome training you get at this school.

Campus Housing: Only live on campus freshmen year and then we have to move off campus

Scholarships: Being realistic about the size of the school and location, I'm lucky that I received the financial aid I did. With new projects to better our school, I feel like they do what they can. Compared to some schools, scholarships aren't great, but this is a very different situation. Conservatory of 700 vs. a university of thousands will make for different standards.

Guys & Girls: As a girl I have a good time. Most of community is girls and gays, so there's no pressure on the dating scene. And they are fierce...this school has some good looking people. No distractions in class. On down side, if you want to date, and you aren't a gay man, you have to look beyond BoCo. But that isn't so bad (can anyone say Harvard boys?!)

Overall Experience: Broadway school. If you're an artist, there's no better place. Boston is also the best college city in the world. Teachers know each student individually. Students are one big family. Best choice I've ever made.

Parking: I have no idea. I do not have a car. I take the T.

2 College Student

Scholarships: It's such a small school and it is private so aid is very difficult. Especially for international students

Parking: All parking is off campus. Very few students have cars, but in the city, you don't need one. Mass transit is readily available and cheap.

Drug Safety: You see alcohol and marijuana at off campus parties. The requirements of the curriculum doesn't really allow for a heavy drug scene. This sins't a big party school. People are here to work at their art. There isn't a lot of peer pressure to indulge in drugs and the policy enforecement is very strict.

Campus Housing: MY residence hall is an old Victorian Brownstone. IMost of the off campus housing is in similar buildings. It's more like living in a private home than campus housing. It's expensive, but close to everything you need. It ws easy to apply for housing.

Local Atmosphere: Boston is the center of history, culture and the arts. There are museums, great library facilites and everything you would want in the way of shopping and recreation. There are so many colleges, that most of the people I see on the streets are students.

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: The residence halls on right on city streets. There is private security and I feel pretty safe. But, you are in a big city, so you have to be awasre of the dangers that presents.
