Academic Experience: Some classes, general education classes, give a lot more work then is necessary for our degrees at this school.

Academic Experience: So far the teachers are great, and the classes are great. I wish classes were offered more often.

Academic Experience: As a female Industrial Design student at Ai, I have found the program to extremely fun. The workload depends on each class. I am currently not eligible for an internship but I know that when it comes time, I will be ready to endure the workload and tasks that I am asked to do. My program has set me up to succeed as a designer. I look forward to applying my knowledge to future projects and assisting my co-workers in any way possible.

Academic Experience: Plenty of options when it comes to Ai.

I do wish they offered foreign languages, like mandarin or french as an option.

Academic Experience: Being an Animator is very interesting and fun. My fellow students are out of this world in skill, artistic talent, and are very loud. This major allows the students to open up and literally be animated and excited about their work and they're encouraged to act accordingly. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy, after all. The workload is intense once you begin your production and beginning animation courses. This major is very project based, but that's what we love about it. It's not sitting at a computer desk answering phone calls all day, we're being imaginative and are allowed to explore creative processes. I've noticed, though, that there are little to no internship opportunities or job notification through the school about animation. One needs to speak to the department director about that, and go searching on their own.
