4 College Senior

Academic Experience: As a baking/-pastry student - we get a LOT of hands on training. Chef runs the kitchen like it was a real job and keeps us on our feet. This will definitely help in the real world.

Academic Experience: Don't have much experience as all of my classes will be concentrated on my major

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: In the beginning, I was more than ecstatic for choosing AI. However, after the few classes with the awe-inspiring Emil DeJohn (an expert in the field with numerous connections), every class felt like it blended with the next. To be blunt, it became mundane and lifeless. I used to have more passion for this subject, but because of how the system is executed, I'm questioning my adoration of (not my skill set for) the fashion marketing world.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: The only professor I recommend is Emil DeJohn. He has helped me get real-world experience with major fashion designers; including Oscar De La Renta and Carolina Herrera. The quarter system is sometimes too much to endure, especially if you work for a minimum of 30 hours per week. Because it is project-based and only 11 weeks, mid terms and finals creep up on you much faster than expected.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: Its tough for students who's programs have the greatest workload, who need more financial assistance from the school. Imagine spending so much time and energy on completing your work, and constantly thinking about food, or when and where you're going to get money from to pay school expenses for the current or upcoming quarter. The toll of stress and the sense of financial instability, really harms the student and causes inconsistency in their performance in school.
