Overall Experience: Cooking class sizes have been very manageable - gives us the adequate space we need to perform our studies

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: I haven't gotten there yet but the internship program seems very in depth.

Academic Flexibility: The classes have fit around my schedule

4 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I am getting an education that I can afford

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: Only have used the online services but they have been very helpful

Academic Experience: As a baking/-pastry student - we get a LOT of hands on training. Chef runs the kitchen like it was a real job and keeps us on our feet. This will definitely help in the real world.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: Don't have much experience as all of my classes will be concentrated on my major

3 College Senior

Student Body: Haven't met all the student body reps but the ones that I have seem okay

4 College Senior

Career Services: Haven't had the chance to really test but it sounds like they do a good job with post graduates (a couple even work for the school)

2 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: The only reason I have gotten anything done is because I have sat outside faculty offices until they had the time to see me. I do not recommend this school for this reason especially.

Overall Experience: Sometimes there is only one class offered per quarter of which you are required to take. This can become difficult fitting in to a schedule; especially if you work. The classes range form 8 am- 6 pm (finishing at 10pm). This can pose as a problem if there aren't classes constantly offered in one day. The class sizes have remained consistent, as the decrease in attendants have decreased in numbers.

Overall Experience: The internship I was suggested for was a complete scam. The woman who ran the business was stretching herself too thin and even her employees were afraid of her. She promised to let me explore my potential, but all i ended up doing was getting people coffee, lunches, and taking control of their social media.

Career Services: Amanda Butler is excellent at her job. She assists students both emotionally and as a career advisor. She has helped me update my resume on multiple occasions.

Campus Resources: The library isn't welcoming and the hours keep getting pushed back to inconvenient times. It is necessary to buy textbooks now because the library hours change sporadically throughout the quarter. Since I have attended AiPh, the school sponsored tickets (hockey games, baseball games, etc) have vanished, the library dramatically shrank in size and in hours, parts of the staff have gone missing (most likely because of the down-size), and it has become more and more difficult to succeed at the school.

Online Courses: The professors want you to interact with other online-students. Usually they'll ask you to write a paragraph about yourself the first week to get to know other students. Despite the fact the professor from the only online class I took was interested in assisting people along the way, it was still rather difficult. The response time was adequate, but because it wasn't in person, the immediate response wasn't there and negatively impacted my overall grade.

Academic Experience: In the beginning, I was more than ecstatic for choosing AI. However, after the few classes with the awe-inspiring Emil DeJohn (an expert in the field with numerous connections), every class felt like it blended with the next. To be blunt, it became mundane and lifeless. I used to have more passion for this subject, but because of how the system is executed, I'm questioning my adoration of (not my skill set for) the fashion marketing world.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: The only professor I recommend is Emil DeJohn. He has helped me get real-world experience with major fashion designers; including Oscar De La Renta and Carolina Herrera. The quarter system is sometimes too much to endure, especially if you work for a minimum of 30 hours per week. Because it is project-based and only 11 weeks, mid terms and finals creep up on you much faster than expected.

Tuition & Financial Aid: If you don't sit outside your advisors' office, you will have trouble accomplishing anything. Unfortunately I worked full time and went to school full time for the first 3 years of my college career at AiPH, and it was difficult getting appointments (especially because they were often broken). It has been difficult to remain afloat, even when I could get financial aid representatives response. Every quarter it is more than a headache. There really isn't a cohesive system in place.

Overall Experience: My experience as a student, i think the education here is second to none because of the faculty, but you'll struggle through the program because of financial issues.

Academic Experience: Its tough for students who's programs have the greatest workload, who need more financial assistance from the school. Imagine spending so much time and energy on completing your work, and constantly thinking about food, or when and where you're going to get money from to pay school expenses for the current or upcoming quarter. The toll of stress and the sense of financial instability, really harms the student and causes inconsistency in their performance in school.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: The programs are great. The teachers know how to teach their fields of study.

Facilities: The computer labs are maintained well, with the latest programs and software. Not many spaces for students to lounge or study in the school.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: There are not many campus activities available. The online library and library resources are very helpful used in a broader way, but students still have to buy their own supplies and books. There are no athletic centers for this school.
