3 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: not much help for the older folks going back for education. They seem to caiter to the younger teens, concerning grants, and reduction in expenses.

4 College Student

Tuition & Financial Aid: They are kind and obliging when it comes to student enrollment. I don't think grants and scholarships are stressed enough, and there is definitely an emphasis on student loans. They are always willing to help correct a student's financial plan, but the process is often long and tedious.

4 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: Too much loan money but school is wonderful.

3 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Going to the Art Institute it's been fine. However, it is a bit expensive and the simple fact that it is expensive. I wish there were more campus scholarships offered. Also, the classes are a bit repetitive and for the amount of money that I'm paying I wish there were outside activity that student can do. The financial aid office is fine they do their job and they do help with FAFSA.

1 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I do not think the amount of money I am paying is comparable to the education I am receiving. I do, however, think that the educational experience a student receives is completely dependent on the amount of knowledge the student wants to learn.

Many students complain about the financial aid at the Art Institute. Students don't consider it a private school, and the school isn't government funded. Also, the cost for the programs, the books, the materials, and the events held at the school have to be taken into consideration when thinking about the high cost. For those students with questions and money issues, financial aid officers and accountants try to alleviate students' problems.

Another point of common concern for students is the amount students have to pay for housing. Housing has a contract they have to keep with different apartment complexes, so the rules and regulations have to be in accordance with the contract, and students often don't consider the cost for all of the utilities, the Internet, furniture, and other amenities.
