5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Hands on school, we go on a quarter system which lasts 11- weeks and at the end of each 11 weeks we get a one week break.

Student Body: Student Body is divided between careers, but everyone gets along great.

2 College Sophomore

Online Courses: Math is done online in the classroom. You basically sit at a computer for 4 hours and do math.

3 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: Housing is extremely expensive, but we live in actual 2 bedroom apartments with 2 bathrooms a laundry room inside, kitchen and living room. The only con is it's too expensive and we have little space in the bedrooms.

Online Courses: I haven't taken online classes.

Overall Experience: My instructors are all very passionate about their jobs, both as educators and as professionals. Taking classes in quarters makes the time go by more quickly, but it also makes it much, much easier to fall behind. Students who work hard are more likely to be successful.

Facilities: This is an art school for art students placed in a business building in Dallas. I can't complain about most of the classrooms: they look nice and modern, with fully functional temperature control. The culinary building could use some work, though. There is almost no temperature control, especially in the summer. The school sponsors many different activities and groups, but several of them meet at the same time on the same day.

4 College Junior

Online Courses: Not online, its a combined/blended concept but 90% of the time you attend class.

4 College Junior

Career Services: You have to put in the work to get a job. Career center services can help you get an interview, but it is up to you to do all the leg work. That's part of life.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Class schedule is great 9-1pm or 6-10pm, MT&T or blended where you come M&W and login from home or work on Tuesday. None of your credits will transfer from Brown Mackie to a state or public college.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: Lots of computers, quick internet capability.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: We don't have athletics yet, but the Student Center is great, open all day, Computer labs are clean and always available.

4 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Dahlia and James are great. They have helped me quite a bit. The only thing I would say, is that you will wait until the end of term for Pell disbursement.

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The school is definitely overpriced

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: It has too many "sudden expenses"

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: Some teachers assume you have no life, nor any other classes besides theirs.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: Professors are industry related to your major. Class size are too large for my taste at times.

5 College Junior

Career Services: People are pretty helpful and prepare you for the real world.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: It is pretty decent, however, there is always a problem with the server. Crashes too much

5 College Senior

Overall Experience: I have learned so much and have been given great opportunities to excel at my school.
