Student Body: The student body is just an average student body to me. There's lots of diversity, and people are mostly polite. The only real interaction I see between students is in the student lounge when someone hooks up a video game to the tv there, or during scheduled events such as free BBQ day, free taco day, pizza with the president, etc.

Academic Experience: I love being a Game Art and Design major at my school. Majority of the teachers are amazing and really know what they are talking about (especially Bennett Bellot and Alan Emrich). I'm learning all different parts of the game design industry, so I can really experience a little bit of all the different job options I have. It really opened my eyes to the different possiblities I have, what I liked and what I didn't. The classes are very challenging and fast paced, and a lot of the times students can fall behind, but if you really put time and effort into learning and practicing, these teachers will make you great, and very well rounded in the industry.

Academic Experience: Bennett Bellot and Alan Emrich are the two best teachers in my entire program in my opinion. I seek classes that either of these instructors teach because I know I will excel in their courses because they are amazing teachers and truly care for their students growth. Class registration is a little hazy still. The school is trying to have the students register themselves, which makes sense; but in my opinion since we are following a specific path, I think all the students should HAVE to meet with an academic advisor to make sure they are taking classes that correspond with each other, have a reasonable combined work load, and with teachers the student will personally excel with depending on their learning style. Many times I've spoken with other students who didn't see their academic advisor for registration and they have multiple harder classes that require much time for homework and they end up having to drop out of one because they can't handle the work load. If the students had to see their advisor it would prevent that from happening.

Online Courses: I haven't taken any online courses so I'm not the prospective student to answer this part of the review.

Career Services: I'm barely half way through my degree so I haven't looked into this area much personally yet, however I do know that during graduation they have a portfolio show for all the students where the school invites potential employers to come and view all the graduates work. This is a great opportunity for graduates to find a job in their field.

Campus Resources: It's really great. The library and online library are great resources for both general ed classes and my art classes. The campus activities are quite fun as well. At the beginning of each quarter they always have things like a Free BBQ day, a free taco day, etc. and they usually have something fun for holidays like our Zombie Casino Night for Halloween this past year. It is a lot of fun, but they could do a better job advertising with more than just posters around the campus. They could pass out flyers, have the instructors make announcements a week in advance, etc. to increase attendance.

Academic Flexibility: The school is great, definitely worth the money. However the estimated financial aide I was going to recieve was extremely different than the actual amount I received, so I ended up paying a lot more than expected, and had to take out an enormous amount of loans. Then this past year the Argosy university owners purchased the school, and so my Cal-Grant A is no longer valid, and I had to take out even more loans. Dispite all this, I really love and enjoy the school, but unfortunately I'm going to be in crippling debt for a long time once I graduate.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Well my tuition is 49,800 for my major. I believe it is totally worth it because the knowledge and experience that I'm going to get going there and learning it's going to help me for my future. There are a lot of friendly, talented people on campus. The only major concern is the pace of some of the classes. Eleven weeks is often too fast to learn the more detailed subjects because there is so much to grasp in such a short period of time. Students can easily get overwhelmed, but most seem to develop thicker skins because of the heavy workload. Students who graduate from A.I. will be prepared for a fast-paced industry.
