3 College Sophomore

Weather: It's hot and sticky and humid, but it's Texas. What else would you expect?

3 College Sophomore

Weather: This is Texas we are talking about. It can be hot in the morning and freezing 10 minutes later. You never know so always come prepared.

3 College Sophomore

Weather: The weather isn't too bad.. sometimes it can be dreary hot or raining but aside from that we don't get much variation.

4 College Freshman

Weather: It's always windy in hill country but other than that the weather is always beautiful

4 College Junior

Weather: It is mostly warm. We had a mild winter, and a mild spring. The drought has made the lake levels low, which is sad.

If you have never been to Texas, be warned: the weather can be random. Anyone will tell you this. It can be 15 degrees in the morning (only during some winter months) and rise to 60 degrees by 2 p.m.

Be well prepared for all seasons when you come to these parts. However, don't forget your swimsuit. You surely will want to bring that since, well, this is Texas, and there is the San Marcos River, running crystal-clear water right through campus at a consistent temperature of 72 to 74 degrees year-round.

If you're a stargazer, definitely check out Freeman Ranch during meteor showers. It's truly the best viewing around these parts.
