3 College Junior

Greek Life: I don't think the Greek life affect the social atmosphere.

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: They seem to be everywhere and they all look the same, which leads me to believe that you have to be a certain kind of person and look a certain kind of way to be able to join the Greek life.

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: Female Greek students are annoying. They're all snobby and live off of their parents. They exclusively wear pastel-colored monogrammed clothing head-to-toe. The guys are mostly douchebags except the frat boys do throw really cool parties. Greek life is only big at TXST if you involve yourself in it. Otherwise it's easy to ignore.

2 College Freshman

Greek Life: It isn't what I am into, it isn't something that I would do.

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: Because I live on campus it seems like the greek life is huge, however, there are so many other types of people. You just need to put yourself out there.

Greek life at Texas State is very active and very positive. The fraternities and sororities work hard to make a positive impact on Texas State and the San Marcos community.

You will see Greek members hanging out in the quad (centerish part of campus) doing fundraisers every day. Joining a fraternity or sorority is an excellent way to really get involved with your campus and the surrounding community. It's also a great way to make some close friends, as well as network with various employers you may be helping raise funds for.
