Academic Experience at Texas State Technical College - Harlingen: The teachers are okay but some give too much to study and give you only a few questions.

Facilities at Texas State Technical College - Harlingen: It is pretty big campus, the only thing I wouldd change is the computer labs, they fill up.

Online Courses at Texas State Technical College - Waco: I'm taking English Composition I online so that I can fit the class into my schedule. It's convenient.

Overall Experience at Texas State Technical College - Waco: The degree program I chose is state of the art and overall I'm set to graduate on time with no set backs.

3 College Senior

Facilities at Texas State Technical College - Waco: The facilities are exactly what you would expect for a community college.

Academic Flexibility at Texas State Technical College - Waco: The class schedules fit an 8 am-5 pm schedule. Most students can work there schedules around that. Some classes are only offered for certain semesters, so be sure to talk to an adviser about your degree and check to see if you're on track to finish in the the amount of time you planned.

Campus Resources at Texas State Technical College - Waco: The internet connection is spotty. The library is only open 8am-5pm, which is inconvenient for studying. But, you can go to the Baylor library to study until 2am.

3 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid at Texas State Technical College - Waco: Just be sure to ask questions because there may be extra fees for government testing that you are not aware of for certain programs.

3 College Senior

Student Body at Texas State Technical College - Waco: The people are friendly and outgoing. There are some issues with immaturity, but you can wade through that and find real friends here.

3 College Senior

Career Services at Texas State Technical College - Waco: It's like any other community college. You have to have a plan and know who to contact to get things done. Ask a lot of questions. Do your research. There are some people who are really helpful. If you want to succeed you need to get to know these people so that there are no arbitrary set backs.

Campus Resources at Texas State Technical College - West Texas: Speed is ok, network availability is average, they do offer wireless. Printing cost money on campus. The computer lab is out of date and half of the computers don't work.

Overall Experience at Texas State Technical College - West Texas: Grades are not submitted in a timely manner, feedback is not valued by the instructor. It's convenient because it is online. I can do clinical rotations at multiple locations. But I would choose to go to a different school if I could do it over again.

Tuition & Financial Aid at Texas State Technical College - West Texas: I don't think I'm getting the education I am paying for. Financial aid office in Abilene is horrible they lose your documents making the students resubmit the multiple times. You get in trouble for calling them out on it. It's awful, the Brownwood campus is favored, but I must fax everything there.

Student Body at Texas State Technical College - West Texas: We have a lot of foreign students, lots of cultural diversity.

2 College Senior

Campus Resources at Texas State Technical College - West Texas: The library is virtually inaccessible to college students between 8-3 m-f on the Abilene CPUs due to the facility being used as a high school as well. They do plan student activities at every campus.

Academic Flexibility at Texas State Technical College - West Texas: The ADN program is a progressive program, but besides that it's very flexible with scheduling around my work schedule. All my credits transferred without hassle.

Facilities at Texas State Technical College - West Texas: There are multiple campuses , best campus being in Sweetwater, the worst being in Abilene. They do offer activities for student involvement. The Sweetwater campus has dorms and is very aesthetically pleasing. The other campuses are just functional.

Online Courses at Texas State Technical College - West Texas: Again, I have never had such disorganization from a school in my life. For example I did not receive my grades in a timely manner this past semester. My grades on weekly assignments did not get put in until after my final some of which were assigned 6 weeks prior. We use ATI and Evolve products which are the worst programs to work with online. Half the time their systems are down for maintenance or they just don't work. I'm in a hybrid coarse so everything is online except clinical rotation which is done at medical centers in our community. That being said you can send correspondence and never get feedback or a response, if you do it is not done in a timely manner. This instructor was the worst I have ever had.
