Drug Safety: I don't use drugs nor am I close friends with people that do. But just about everyone drinks... a lot. Weed is used a lot. X and coke are used quite a bit, some of the frat guys use adderall but besides that, it's mainly alcohol and weed.

Greek Life: Greek life is HUGE on campus. Like, if you're not Greek people are like, "Oh. What happened?" as if something huge happened that prevented you from rushing. Greeks live in Greek houses and right now the houses kind of suck, but they're remodeling it (since we are Texas CONSTRUCTION University).

Facilities: The athletic center is a really nice facility. It's always clean and doesn't smell like sweat or anything gross. The career center is a great place, everyone is really willing to help you succeed. The library is amazing and there are countless resources- my favorite is the writing center. Campus events and traditions are countless, they're almost always something going on. In the fall, people don't necessarily "hang out" in the commons, but some people play with a football or frisbee or whatever.

Facilities: The profs are great and pretty flexible and easily accessible. They're willing to help you if you need it. The academic programs are some of the best at what they do, so that's reassuring. Then again, they do weed out the people not willing to the work the first couple of years. The social scene is really fun if you're into binge drinking and you're in a frat or sorority. I'm not into either, but I still have fun at parties. The campus is beautiful, even when the weather is bad. Study abroad is pretty popular.

Local Atmosphere: I'm from Dallas, so compared to Dallas, Fort Worth has more cultural entertainment and Dallas has more of a nightlife.

Health & Safety: TCU is a private school so money is spent to make sure the students feel safe and at home and pampered and then extra money is spent on renovations and making the school more luxurious and whatnot.

Majors: Education is great really good professors

Campus Dining: The food served at the dining hall is sometimes fresh and sometimes not. There are foods such as stir fry, hamburgers, and pizza that are served everyday in large quantities where as home-cooked foods are served with lesser quantity. Overall, the food could better.

College Sophomore

Scholarships: I did not receive financial aid, but many of friends did. Some received scholarships upon admission and have not had issues renewing them while others have. Those that did not have difficulties with the renewal process explained that they kept up with the scholarship requirements and met with the necessary people causing them less stress and headache.

Greek Life: Most non-Greeks are indifferent about Greeks since a lot of non-Greeks are friends with Greeks. Still some students view Greeks negatively since some Greeks form their own cliques and come across as being snobbish. However, the majority of Greeks are very kind and involved in activities that benefit campus life, as well as the surrounding community.

Athletics: Students involvement is crucial to the athletics at Texas Christian University. Many students make it a priority to show up to every football, soccer, volleyball, and basketball game. The school spirit has a way of unifying the student body and reminding us that we are the Horned Frogs!

Local Atmosphere: Fort Worth is a nice city, and the locals are very friendly towards students. Hulen Mall is not the best shopping experience, but you can generally find what you need. The restaurants are great and nightlife is also great.

Guys & Girls: Girls and guys are preppy, but not very stuck-up. Most of them are very friendly

Most students at TCU are pleased with their education and the opportunities presented to them. While diversity continues to be an issue on campus, strong academics, good facilities, and countless organizations play a larger role in student life. To most students, TCU offers a strong academic foundation in a lively setting. Fort Worth and Dallas provide endless entertainment, while campus police and Froggie Five-O do their best to protect and serve the students on TCU’s campus. Students have a wide variety of living options, providing them with a great environment while earning their educations.

Don't be fooled by the name: TCU isn’t a stuffy church school. It’s a place where students are encouraged to try new things and branch out. A few numerous organizations—Greek ones in particular—tend to discriminate between social groups, but the overall student body is quite friendly. Academically, students are eager to learn, and a small student-faculty ratio allows students to interact closely with each of their professors. In the long run, many TCU students truly appreciate the campus for what it is and tend to view it as an experience like no other. It sure is good to be a Horned Frog!
