Weather: Weather can be extreme at times but is usually reasonable and the buildings are all close enough that it is not really a big concern though I wish there were stricter speed limit enforcement since you often have to cross the street and drivers are not always looking for pedestrians.

Off-Campus Dining: There are lots of places to eat around campus. All different varieties. Trust me there are plenty to choose from. From fast food to dine in restaurants.

Guys & Girls: For a Christian school, the students don't act like it. Alcohol is not regulated like it should be. The rules regarding drinking are not well enforced so the students get away with it.

Scholarships: I wish that TCU would allow students to apply for academic scholarships while they are attending TCU. I think that if you preform well while in school and have vary good grades they should consider that not just the scores on your SAT or ACT from high school.

Off-Campus Dining: There are many options around TCU but if you don't have a car you are limited to options that are not so healthy. There are a lot of fast food restaurants very close and few really good sit down restaurants within walking distance.

Weather: You're in Texas so it's hot. but there are beautiful spring and fall days.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: Very many different places to eat on campus plus lots of restaurants around campus.

Local Atmosphere: The whole city of Fort Worth comes out to cheer on the Horned Frog in every sport. We love our Horned Frogs.

Majors: I do plan to have an internship in journalism whenever I get to that point. I want to get the most experience before I graduate. It won't be that hard because TCU is located in Fort Worth which has many news outlets.

4 College Student

Majors: It's very loaded but it makes you become a better student in your degree field.

4 College Student

Majors: It's a really great university that cares for it's students. The program is well funded and will help you graduate on a timely basis.

Campus Dining: The BLUU gets a lot of criticism, but compared to a lot of places it's actually really good. There's a wide selection of food every day, and most of it is fairly healthy!

Parking: The parking is terrible at TCU. there is one freshman lot and every home football game you have to move your car to a lot that is miles away from campus. There are a couple other parking lots but lots of people park illegally and get parking tickets. There are shuttles that can take you from the lots to campus but sometimes they take a long time to get to you.

Facilities: TCU is building lots of new dorms that are going to be top of the line and suite style. We also just built a multi-million dollar stadium for our Big 12 football team. The academic buildings at TCU are beautiful and all newly renovated.

5 College Sophomore

Athletics: Football season is amazing! Always so much fun and entertaining. Student section of the stadium provides more than enough room. Games are fun and we tend to do pretty well. However, now that we're in the Big 12 football is the only sport thriving from TCU at the moment.

Weather: Didn't really give it a grade because the weather is average. It's Texas so of course it gets hot during the summer. Winter isn't bad at all, gets cold but doesn't snow much, I think I saw snow maybe once for a couple of hours. However from winter to spring the weather is very bipolar.

Nightlife: C+ for nightlife outside of school including bars and clubs. There aren't very many places that are 18 and older, a fake id is a must, unless you get to know some people. However, house parties and sorority/fraternity parties are always happening and available to students.

4 College Sophomore

Scholarships: The process wasn't complicated and there weren't any tricks or information they left out. I was able get all the forms I needed to make all the deadlines. I was informed through email when my aid was ready for review and acceptance. I received a good amount of aid based on merit and performance.

4 College Senior

Majors: TCU is a great school and all the majors are challenging, so it really prepares you for the world outside of college.

Drug Safety: There is help at school if anyone has a drug problem. TCU really helps you feel safe.

5 College Freshman

Computers: There are many digital resources on the TCU campus and all are awesome! They help students learn and engage with the changing digital world.

Greek Life: Greek life is abundant at the TCU campus. Although some students may feel excluded at times, there are countless clubs and organizations that one can join that are not Green affiliated.

Drug Safety: TCU handles drugs and alcohol very seriously. I am sure people are aware of the drug scandal with the football team last year. The TCU officials handled the situation accordingly and made it known to TCU and other universities that we were strict regarding drug and alcohol abuse.

5 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: I love eating off campus at TCU. There is a great selection of restaurants, fast-food, and close to home favorites like Dutch's. Make sure to get those Frogbucks!!!

5 College Junior

Diversity: This campus is filled with people from all over the country and all over the world. I love being on a campus with so many people from so many places.

Most students at TCU are pleased with their education and the opportunities presented to them. While diversity continues to be an issue on campus, strong academics, good facilities, and countless organizations play a larger role in student life. To most students, TCU offers a strong academic foundation in a lively setting. Fort Worth and Dallas provide endless entertainment, while campus police and Froggie Five-O do their best to protect and serve the students on TCU’s campus. Students have a wide variety of living options, providing them with a great environment while earning their educations.

Don't be fooled by the name: TCU isn’t a stuffy church school. It’s a place where students are encouraged to try new things and branch out. A few numerous organizations—Greek ones in particular—tend to discriminate between social groups, but the overall student body is quite friendly. Academically, students are eager to learn, and a small student-faculty ratio allows students to interact closely with each of their professors. In the long run, many TCU students truly appreciate the campus for what it is and tend to view it as an experience like no other. It sure is good to be a Horned Frog!
