2 College Junior

Scholarships: I did not receive or apparently qualify for 2 scholarships that I was eligible for because I was a transfer student. I was also denied on-campus work-study eligibility in that campus for the same reason. Financial aid office takes 20 or 30 mins to answer the phone and the advisers constantly cancel appointments and ask to reschedule but they are never available. Horrible services provided. You're flying blind most of the time. Scholarship options aren't even notified to students.

Campus Dining: the food can be terrible, I got sick more that once eating in the dinning halls but the staff can be nice at times

3 College Junior

Majors: CSDO, the work load is significant and the requirements for the degree outside of the classroom are hard to keep if you work to pay for school.

3 College Junior

Majors: The admission to the program is not hard just maintain a 3.0 GPA but the professors are very hard and they don't really explain or care about the classes.

2 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: I heard it is too expensive for the amount of room and the time you spend at an apartment but significantly cheaper that housing on campus.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: There isn't much of a variety in cuisines mostly burger joints.

3 College Junior

Diversity: they should explore Hispanic customs instead of overlooking them because that class is primary Hispanic students

College Freshman

Overall Experience: I'm a freshman so I wouldn't know.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Small class sizes and nice professors.

College Freshman

Nightlife: I'm a freshman, I don't know.

2 College Freshman

Scholarships: I'm still waiting on my financial aid to process, and its been months since they got it.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: It's pretty good. Just pretty far from classes and a little bit of partying can get annoying.

4 College Freshman

Diversity: Majority is Hispanic/Latino but there are several other cultures surrounding us. There are a few international students add well. No one treats anyone differently because of race, religion, or sexual orientation.

5 College Freshman

Greek Life: They are extremely nice and organize a lot activities for fundraising and raising awareness about issues.

5 College Freshman

Campus Dining: Great variety of foods to choose. Have an express card to buy from in campus restaurants like Subway, Pizza Hut, Chick-fil-a, and Starbucks.

5 College Freshman

Scholarships: They covered a great deal of the money I needed to attended. Only a few thousand dollars left to pay the rest.

4 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: When it comes to drugs and alcohol they are strict. But they don't care much about dorm visitations. It can get pretty loud when neighbors are having a party.

4 College Senior

Nightlife: Usually all the good parties happen at the Country Luau or the Texas Ranch.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: I love A&M - Kingsville, considering the distance from home, I'm familiar with the area. The campus is a very warm and welcoming one, especially from the students. What makes this campus unique is the atmosphere is very chill and relaxed.

4 College Senior

Health & Safety: We don't have security cameras, but I did ask, and they police said they are working on it.

4 College Senior

Off-Campus Dining: We have Whataburger, which is the best. Taco Bell, BBQ, and Mexican restaurants.

2 College Senior

Campus Strictness: It is pretty strict when living at the dorms, as well in parking.

4 College Senior

Local Atmosphere: Well the downtown area is the cutest highlight of the town. It has shops with unique items sometimes you won't find in other places.

4 College Senior

Facilities: Its great, I love the atmosphere and how beautiful it looks the campus.

4 College Senior

Facilities: The classes are a lot smaller, which I love, because you get to know everyone in your class. And the professor gets to know each student as well.
