Academic Flexibility: My experience at SCCC has been great. It has been fairly easy to register for classes and to get financial aid. The faculty has been great and very helpful.

Academic Flexibility: As far as scheduling classes goes, flexibility is great. I signed up late for my classes and I talked to the dean and he helped me get into all the classes I needed in order to get my credits in for the semester. SCCC really sucks at handling credits that are transferred., everyone has had problems with it and I'm still dealing with credits I need to be transferred from last year. It's really a pain, and no one seems to be organized.

Academic Flexibility: this school needs an over haul in the financial aid department not only have the tried to take my awarded aid away multiple times the have done the same for my girlfriend and many of my other friends. this is something i really hope gets fixed because the people there do not like their job nor do they do their job unless you are willing to stand there and hold their hand while they do it. if a new student were to take my advice i would say go to HVCC or a different college all together other wise the administration will try to rip you off and lie to your face. everything else with this school is great the teachers are top notch and the food is good, although a little overpriced, and the student body is very accepting of who ever you are.
