Overall Experience: I love the human services professors and all the classes they teach. Generally, all the professors enjoy their the subjects they teach and work really hard at it!

Overall Experience: There are lots of job fairs and local companies always hiring and advertising to SCCC students!

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition process has been smooth and relatively easy.

Online Courses: I haven't had much experience with online courses, but the experience that I have had with them has been good.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: From the friendly and knowledgeable staff to the career placement center and the library, my overall experience at SCCC has been great and I would recommend this school to anyone who is looking to get an undergraduate degree.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: The library is nice and the staff in the library are very helpful. The campus is small but nice which makes it easier to get to class from class.

4 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: My experience at SCCC has been great. It has been fairly easy to register for classes and to get financial aid. The faculty has been great and very helpful.

4 College Senior

Career Services: There are some great resources for me at my school that allows me to look for jobs and get the help I need moving forward into a career.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I am not a huge fan of SCCC, the faculty outside of the chefs are very unhelpful and don't really want to try to help. I'm really only going here because I've heard going things about the culinary program but mostly I'm going so I can save money before I transfer to a larger school.

3 College Sophomore

Career Services: Haven't looked into this stuff

3 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: As far as scheduling classes goes, flexibility is great. I signed up late for my classes and I talked to the dean and he helped me get into all the classes I needed in order to get my credits in for the semester. SCCC really sucks at handling credits that are transferred., everyone has had problems with it and I'm still dealing with credits I need to be transferred from last year. It's really a pain, and no one seems to be organized.

3 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: Tuition is pretty low and I think i'm getting my moneys worth at least this semester. You really have to hop on classes your first opportunity or you'll be stuck with the last ones and then it'll feel like a waste of time. I don't get financial aid and anyone working in the financial aid and registrars offices are super unhelpful.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I love being a culinary major. I've really learned a lot in my lab classes, and its interesting to work with people from all different experiences with food. I'll have classes with people that have worked in restaurants for years and then with people that don't even know how to cook pasta. It's definitely an interesting environment, but no matter who you are everyone is given a chance to shine and everyone is really there to learn.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I love all of my culinary classes, but most of my gen ed classes are pretty terrible. Every gen ed class I've taken (intro to hospitality, human resources, nutrition etc.) Have been taught by teachers who don't really know how to teach a class effectively and don't necessarily know what their doing. Any class outside of those I've had an amazing time in and I've truly learned a lot.

3 College Sophomore

Online Courses: I haven't personally taken any online courses, but from what I've heard, the SCCC website always crashes, and a lot of the time online quizzes or homework assignments won't go through because of the faulty network.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: We have a small library with computers and printers, and most of my teachers are always available either through ANGEL or out of class time to help. But I've also had encounters with teachers and many faculty members that aren't very willing to help the students, or don't really know what their doing.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: I don't use the computers at the school very often because I have my own laptop. The wifi is alright, it can get pretty slow on days when there are a lot of people using their laptops in the lobby.

3 College Sophomore

Student Body: I don't interact too much with many of the others students that are outside of the Culinary section of the school. No one really goes out of their way to be friendly or introduce themselves, and I think a big part of that is the lack of clubs and activities that get students involved with each other and get them out of their comfort zone.

1 College Sophomore

Student Body: Wouldn't know, no one talks to me.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: The classes are good, but they need to make sure to put classes in rooms with the proper amount of seating. The school is okay so far. If they didn't have the program I wanted, though, I probably wouldn't come here.

2 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: For the price, it's a pretty good school, and can't complain. Financial aid has been decent

Facilities: There needs to be more places for people to go and sit when they're eating, in between classes, etc. It's so hard to find a spot.

College Sophomore

Online Courses: Have not taken online courses

College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Library is tinier than expected, the hours suck.

College Sophomore

Campus Resources: All seem good, access to laptops/computers, printing is free atm, haven't used wireless
