Overall Experience: It is not the best school, but it is the closest comm. college to home so I have no choice if I wanted to save money. I wish staff were more helpful and there were more well planned activities.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: There are a lot of good faculty for the business and accounting department. I feel like I am being well educated within my degree.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Tuition is higher than most community colleges. Feel like my education isn't as good as it should be for the extra money. Financial aid was held onto for a long period of time.

3 College Senior

Student Body: It's a wide variety, but being a community college the bad tends to outweigh the good. I do not feel like I am around very knowledgeable people.. especially walking on campus .

Onondaga is a really great community college. It provides students with the chance to work while going to school and make lifelong friends. Other SUNY schools lack the opportunities found on this campus. Students can gain leadership positions in clubs and organizations, utilize counselor help to figure out their life goals, and prepare for a life in the work force or further education at a four-year university. The faculty and staff are friendly and engaging, with the ultimate goal of helping students grow. Onondaga is unique as a community college because the people that make up its community truly take the effort to make things better each and every day.
