Campus Dining: Campus food is what you'd expect campus food to be. It's no different from any of the other SUNY schools, and we have the same provider as most schools around the country (Sodexo). However there are a lot of organic/vegetarian options through agreements with local businesses. We have a small vegan section in the dining hall, and every on campus venue has options specifically for vegetarians. One downside is that the hours of operation for food venues aren't flexible. The only place open after 10 is Oscar's, and the only place open after 12 is the giant, overpriced vending machine on campus that doesn't accept dining dollars.

Campus Dining: There are a few varieties of food on campus. They are priced reasonably. If you take a short walk of campus into town there are a ton of options. We are located in the Hudson Valley so there is a huge focus on local farms and products. There are many farm to table options and health eating is very easy. There is a higher level of exception of food from the local residents and there for you are able to benefit from that as a student. You don't have to live on classic late night junk food but of course that is still an option too.

Campus Dining: The dining hall is the worst the food get old so fast and leaves you feeling gross. Also on weekends the dining hall doesn't even open till 11 which sucks if you're an early riser

3 College Junior

Campus Dining: There were always many choices to pick from, burgers, wraps, salads, etc. But, they weren't always the best. I found soup was a good go-to and liked them.

3 College Freshman

Campus Dining: here's not many options for food at night time (7:30-late). Its either the dining hall Hasbrouck or the take-out place Oscars. It gets really crowded at Hasbrouck and they run out of utensils, plates, and cups all the time.

Students have a love-hate relationship with Hasbrouck, the NP dining hall. The food tastes great for the first two months of the semester, followed by bearable, then truly mediocre, and then, just when you never want to set foot into Hasbrouck again, it's time for break (Hallelujah!). But absence makes the heart grow fonder, and one finds oneself daydreaming about Haz's crispy fries and greasy egg sandwiches.

Another place to eat is in the Student Union Building (SUB), which is generally where the upperclassmen dine on campus. Sandwiches, quesadillas, burgers, Japanese, and Caribbean cuisine are all available at the SUB; the difference is that students have to pay with dining dollars (purchased at the beginning of each semester). There are also two Jazzman's Café locations, both of which serve coffee, pre-made sandwiches, and soup, and the newly renovated Backstage Café in Parker Theatre, which has great veggie burritos.
