Tuition & Financial Aid: I think the financial aid is based on income, so I think it is a basic process. FASFA can be difficult sometimes.

2 College Freshman

Career Services: They don't really have great career centers to help you find a career after you graduate. You're basically on your own.

Overall Experience: If I had the grades in high school to go to a better suny school I would jump at the chance. A famous phrase used by people who go to Delhi is that "Delhi is not real life". Basically this school is a joke for most people who waste two years here to make their parents happy.

3 College Freshman

Facilities: I think one of the things that sets SUNY Delhi apart from other schools is the size of it. There are approximately 3,000 students and the campus is so that you can walk from any dorm room to the farthest classroom in 15 minutes tops. You can walk into town so easily and that's great because if you want to party you just walk down the hill and walk up. You see faces that you know and might not feel so lost in such a small school.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I do believe the value of the education is worth the tuition I am paying, but I do not believe the room and board is worth the money that is being charged in the tuition. I feel as if the food is of poor quality and the dorm rooms and the price of it is extremely high for what it is worth. Not worth it.

Academic Flexibility: Flexibility with the classes and curriculum is pretty good I have to say. If you need to be put in a class or drop a class they do it fairly quickly and with ease.

Student Body: The students that attend Delhi typically are here really to party. Most students are involved in some sort of greek organization and fraternities and sororities make up a lot of the students that go here. It can get extremely obnoxious if you don't want to be involved in that type of organization because they are the only people that throw parties. Typically most students are Delhi aren't very bright seeing as Delhi will accept anyone out of high school. A lot of students that go here end up dropping out their first semester because they were too busy partying and not studying. Diversity wise, the school has around half African American students and half white. A lot of students come from the city because it's one of the closest Suny schools. A lot are rednecks that are from the area as well. There is a good amount of acceptance among the different diverse groups; there are typically black greek organizations that have a mix of spanish and white members in them.

Academic Experience: Being a Criminal Justice major is great. You really do learn a lot if you actually come to class and participate. A lot of the professors that teach criminal justice were police officers so many people who intend on going into law enforcement can learn a lot from them, but for people like me who want to go to law school they are also helpful because many of them went to law school as well.

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: The academics are great, if you actually come to Delhi to learn something and not just to party for two years. Registration is really easy and they set up a station in the library for freshman to come if they need help registering. You talk to your advisor prior to registering on what classes to take to complete your major and they are very helpful. Delhi is known for its vet science and nursing majors so a lot of people are in that. They even have a section of one building just for those majors. Workload is very easy because Delhi will accept anyone into it so you'll have a lot of really stupid people in your classes.

Online Courses: Online courses to begin with aren't very great because it is not like a real classroom experience. You don't get the same learning environment as a classroom, which allows you to exchange ideas and see the information taught to you in a visual manner with someone who can answer all your questions on the spot. Online classes are just a joke and are easy A's, but you don't really learn much.

Facilities: I would say one of the neatest things about our school is that we have a small little working farm. There is nothing neater than showing up for class and walking in to see a newborn calf next to its mama.

Academic Flexibility: I had a particularly good time transferring in credits and my teachers are very understanding of personal conflicts and try to schedule things around the students.

Overall Experience: My favorite experience thus far was getting to sign up for karate as an elective. That was super fun! Next semester I am going to be learning how to throw ceramic pottery. My associates will let me become a Veterinary Technician but I love that I have the time to explore my other interests and that Delhi offers a wide array of classes so that I can try new things.

Campus Resources: This program has a lot available to its students. The gym has very flexible hours, the library is open from 7:30am until midnight, there are always activities going on, and the campus itself is very easy to find your way around.

Campus Resources: I have a personal computer and printer, however it is not really necessary. All buildings have internet, and the library has lots of different computers that you can go on, some of which have really interesting major-specific related information on it.

Overall Experience: I love the culinary program.

Academic Experience: I absolutely love my major. The chefs are very helpful. They take this career serious so that we are able for the real world. Nothing is left unknown.
