Student Body: Everyone is very smart and helpful

Overall Experience: I would choose another school if I could do it all over again. As a student who took advanced courses in high school, I didn't expect to find community college challenging. However, I do find the lopsided expectations to be incredibly frustrating. Students, more often than not, are expected to learn and review the material outside of class, complete assignments and take tests all without being taught by the instructor. Instructors play unrelated videos or waste class time with irrelevant conversation as opposed to teaching students. If the class is unproductive and the instructor isn't making an effort to teach, I find it unfair that students are expected to continue to complete assignments and take tests are the regular pace.

Academic Flexibility: Registering for classes is easy, but there are not a wide range of classes to choose from. Also, many classes are only offered at one particular time, which makes it hard to customize your schedule the way you want to.

Academic Experience: My major is Liberal Arts: Humanities and Social Sciences. Based on my course requirements I have a lot of flexibility concerning which classes I can take. However, oftentimes many courses I could take are not even offered, so I end up taking classes that don't interest me at all simply to meet a requirement. I face the same obstacles when choosing elective courses.

Academic Experience: Many low level courses have unexpectedly big workloads with numerous assignments, papers, and exams. However, I find the quality of the professors to be alarmingly low, except for the science departments. Many professors don't make any attempt to organize their time in the classroom or to teach the subject matter, but they don't hesitate to assign readings and homework as well as schedule tests and quizzes.

Online Courses: Very few online courses are offered and I have never taken one.

Student Body: There are black students from NYC, young white students from the area and older white students from the area.

Campus Resources: The library has study rooms and computers, as well as helpful librarians.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: There are only a few areas where computers are available for student use. The network is incredibly slow and unreliable if you're working on a paper or project. Wi-fi is available but is only strong enough on the first two floors of the main building, which is where the administrative offices are.

Facilities: It has a fantastic view of Lake Champlain.

College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I am a recipient of the Presidential Scholar Award so the only things I'm responsible for paying for are fees and books.

College Senior

Career Services: I don't know what resources are available as they are never discussed and my advisor has never mentioned them.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: We have top notch athletic facilities. Basketball, Volleyball, Baseball, etc. Our library has a good selection of modern literature and is comfortable too. It would be nice to have a football team though, I used to play college football. I suppose budget limitations are a likely reason for no football team.

Overall Experience: Psychology is the best discipline to major in. CCC is a terrific college. I would choose CCC again for school if I had the choice.

Academic Flexibility: I live about 6 blocks away from the Clinton Community College campus. So close, and so comfortable. Like its right in my backyard.

Student Body: Top notch student body. I have made close friends and would refer this place to a Continuing Ed student or anyone who wants a great education for not much do-re-mi.

4 College Junior

Facilities: The educational experience at Clinton Community College is second to none with lots of personal attention for students that show initiative.

4 College Junior

Career Services: No post grad services have been looked into. I am too early in my Clinton Community College tenure to consider these yet. However, I have been told that career placement is THE most important part of the CCC experience. I have no doubt I am in good hands.

Online Courses: all online courses are very user friendly and straightforward. I have been fortunate to have great professors and I have heard no complaints from anyone about online course dissatisfaction. Weekly discussion forums between the professor and students assist greatly in the online schooling process. Two thumbs up!

College Senior

Online Courses: I have never taken any online courses at my collge.

Overall Experience: My college has great opportunities for every student. They have an excellent tutoring center that aids students that are having a difficult time. I enjoyed my experience here and would do it again. The proffessors are also very helpful.
