Advice on Finding a Job/Internship
Binghamton offers several services for finding a job or internship during or after your college years, but like most things in Binghamton, the information is not always right in front of your nose. Sometimes, you need to do some searching to find the things you want. Get to know the professors in your major, as well as your academic advisers. Oftentimes, they know of jobs or internships that are not advertised. Many people stay in Binghamton during their summers to hold a job or internship at the school. Sometimes, this can be easier than finding a job back at home. Also, email listservs will often provide valuable information.
