3 College Junior

Overall Experience: I love getting to go to class every day and bake, but many of the other classes I have to take are completely useless to my degree.

2 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: This school is extremely expensive. Because it is a private school, it is hard to get internal scholarships. The people in the financial aid office try to be helpful, but are not always.

3 College Junior

Student Body: Sullivan is an extremely diverse school. There are people from all over the US.

3 College Junior

Career Services: From what I have been told, the career center will try to help you get a job, but they don't always find one.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Sullivan is very specific about what credits they will transfer, and most of them will only transfer as random elective credits. Class scheduling is great because classes are, for the most part, just Monday through Thursday at the same time every day. The latest I have ever been in class is two, and the earliest is seven.

4 College Junior

Facilities: All of the culinary-related programs are great at Sullivan. As long as you do all of your work and show passion for your field, the chefs will do everything they can to advance you in the industry. There really isn't a big social scene here.

2 College Junior

Online Courses: They have changed the policies for online classes. Now, you have to go into a classroom to do some of your work. Attendance is taken and you cannot miss more than eight days even if you get all of the work done before the quarter is over.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: We do not have any athletic centers or many campus activities in general. The library only has books that relate to the programs at the school.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: At Sullivan, there is wi-fi all over campus. There are many computer labs throughout main campus as well as in the library. There is also free printing in all of the labs.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: I major in Baking and Pastry. I love the labs and all of my chefs, but some of the classes that are required for my degree are completely useless.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: All of the chefs that teach at Sullivan are great and they know what they are doing. Many of the general, non-lab teachers are awful. Class registration is usually very easy and you will most likely get in all of the classes you want.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: For the most part everything has been ok.

Student Body: I have only had one run in with horrible students and the university tried to take care of that. It did take me going to higher up chefs and asking them to think about was this someone the university wanted to support and have their name on there resumes.

Academic Experience: I have to say being in the culinary field is the best. Our chefs care about us and it truly shows they are always there and almost always understanding.

Academic Experience: Everything is good for the most part.

Academic Flexibility: I have to say for the most part I have never had a problem with getting the classes I wanted when I wanted.

4 College Junior

Online Courses: I love that I can do class on my time but I think the hardest part for me is that I am teaching myself and if I don't understand something then it makes things hard.

4 College Junior

Facilities: I feel that my school is average and that they try to do great things but I think they could do more.

4 College Junior

Career Services: When I first finished my associate degrees they were great in Heinz me look for a job.

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I think that there is more the financial aid department could do to help the students more. I have had issues with my advisor before because he doesn't like to return emails or calls. To me they should be there for us when we need them most. I also feel that they should be more willing to work with students when they need the help. I am trying to finish my degree and need to find a loan to help and they aren't being very helpful with that.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: The library is always kept up to date and for the most part they make sure we have everything we may need. I have to say that our instructors really care about us and make sure that they are always available when they are needed.
