Majors: Sul Ross will pretty much admit anyone into the university.

3 College Sophomore

Majors: Theres no internships available I don't think for my program. The science department is pretty good.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: There's very little student discounts. All there are, are fast food restaurants and a couple family owned Mexican restaurants.

4 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: It's a very small and friendly town.

Campus Housing: The dorms are very nice. You get your own bedroom and share a living room with one roommate. They have a miniature fridge and microwave. You also get free internet, and cable.

College Sophomore

Greek Life: We don't have Greek Life here.

Transportation: It's not bad at all. You can walk or ride a bike to anywhere on and around campus. Only bad thing is that Alpine is so far away from everything else in Texas that you have to travel far to get back home. Which means a lot of gas to pay for.

Weather: It's west Texas. The weather is bipolar. One day it's freezing, sidewalks are frozen, and it's 16 degrees out. The next day it can be 65 degrees and not a cloud in the sky, as if the freeze never happened.

Athletics: The school isn't big on spirit.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I haven't really looked into off campus housing, but some of the houses here in town look good.

3 College Freshman

Athletics: Even though the teams might struggle sometimes, the fan base stays strong and fans will continue to support the teams.

Health & Safety: There isn't really any crime in the campus or the town for that matter. The university holds sessions for any concerns and finds solutions and raises awareness of any conflicts.

3 College Freshman

Transportation: There isn't really a transportation system to all the students being very close to campus. Students either drive a short distance or live on campus.

College Freshman

Greek Life: We don't have greek life at school.

3 College Freshman

Nightlife: There's not many places to go but it's still fun.

Parking: Although a car isn't really necessary for everyday use, if someone brings their vehicle the parkiing permits aren't really pricey and the parking is very convenient.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: If someone were to live off campus it would be fairly easy to find a place at a reasonable price.
