3 College Senior

Student Body: Met a few people I've hung out with outside of classes, but only the younger ones

4 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: At least if you move there are campuses everywhere or online.

2 College Senior

Career Services: I haven't really tried to utilize what they say they have, but it lacks.

3 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Tuition is I THINK reasonable, but more than I'd expect for it's format. Def. a for-profit school.

2 College Senior

Facilities: I'm glad I went to a traditional college for under grad, but this is okay for night school graduate level. more like a city school or what you'd expect I suppose.

3 College Senior

Online Courses: I wish the Online lectures were more than just a few slides with voice over, or at least more in depth with more slides rather than a 5 minute summary. Also, more labs vs research papers would help more real-world application.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Tuition is average for graduate schools in the area. The financial aid process is easy and for those that don't have as much experience with FAFSA the school offers the SNAP program that walks you through the application process.

Facilities: From my experience, there is nothing unique about Strayer University. The subjects taught are relatively up to date and the professors are good and knowledgeable of the subjects taught. School atmosphere is relatively friendly and information is engaging and interesting. I think Strayer University is more for student who have set future career objectives and need education to achieve their goals. Strayer does not offer liberal arts so it is not a university which students need time to find what they want to do with their life.

Campus Resources: If you intend on taking online classes, you will need a personal computer and printer. Students also need to be committed when attending Strayer; the faculty are somewhat flexible but comprehending the information is relatively up to the student. I use the university blackboard website to access my classes. My only compliant would be how exams are administer. Exams are administered with a time limit; despite it is open book, preparation is required. If you press the wrong key or walk away from your computer the exam may shut down and students must submit a request to their professor. It is at the professor's discretion to give students another opportunity while other professors are not proficient using blackboard and students may not be given another opportunity.

Campus Resources: Since I have taken my classes online, I have not had the opportunity to go to the athletic center. However, Strayer has an excellent student library both online an on campus. The university is always offering seminars and training through the school center which allow students to accomplish a well rounded education.

Overall Experience: Strayer University is a pretty good school. The university offers classes which can be taken online or in the classroom. The staff are friendly and very helpful. I had one bad experience since attending Strayer and with the staff assistance was able to rectify the problem.
