Transportation: There are shuttles that leave from campus and go to the Target in town, the South Shore Mall and the Quincy Adams T Station.Campus is only about 20 mins away from the T station which is great! Being so close to the red line is super convenient! It makes getting around Boston really easy. The shuttle times are not quite the best but you can have a car on campus after freshmen year. Most people have a car on campus so the shuttle isn't really a problem.

Athletics: The amount of school spirit this school has is a joke. Literally. Everyone always jokes about how little school spirit we have. There is no school spirit. No one goes to sports games and no one generally cares about the sports teams expect for the people on the teams. Overall, we're a pretty average D2 school. I think our best teams are our men's and women's ruby teams. Our football team is usually pretty bad.

As far as facilities, the gym is really nice, especially if you are on a team. If you're not on a team the gym is still nice but there aren't enough machines for the amount of people that use it. Sometimes you'll have to wait for one to be open before you can use it.

Computers: The wireless is really bad sometimes but it gets better.

Campus Strictness: The strictness gets a bit insane at times. It started out fine but after three sexual assaults they've cracked down. We have to show IDs to get on campus from my dorm and again when you get in the dorm.

Local Atmosphere: It's a small but also very close to Brockton which can be sketchy.

4 College Freshman

Diversity: Lots of diversity on campus.

3 College Freshman

Nightlife: Depends on the crowd of people.

4 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: They are usually pretty friendly.

3 College Freshman

Transportation: The shuttle can be annoying sometimes.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Lots of great restaurants to choose from.

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: There are many off-campus locations that are close to campus and deliver to students!

3 College Junior

Drug Safety: Some students partake, some do not. It really doesn't matter.

5 College Junior

Computers: The computers that the school does provide (In the comp labs) are very nice!

3 College Junior

Nightlife: It can be fun, but it's nice to get off campus as well! (Going into Boston)

3 College Junior

Diversity: Retrospectively, it has been terrible. It is getting to be much better though!!

3 College Freshman

Nightlife: parties? not really a thing.

3 College Freshman

Health & Safety: campo needs to be more regulated

College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: i don't know much about this

4 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: good people that value trust

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: best housing especially for incoming first year students

Off-Campus Dining: The closest places within walking distance are Panera Bread, Starbucks, Bertucci's, Orange Leaf, Back Bay Bagel, and Daddy's Dairy. There is also Hilliard's which is a cute little chocolate boutique that could possibly contribute to the freshman 15. All of these are excellent places to get food and the cost is reasonable. I don't know who could get sick of Panera Bread or Daddy's Dairy but if you've exhausted these options there are really no other restaurants close by unless you took a trip to Boston.

4 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: There are like, 4 guys at this school. Almost everyone's attractive here.

3 College Freshman

Athletics: It's a small school so if you're expecting mass crowds of hyped, raging fans at say a basketball game you'll be disappointed. The level of attendance and support at varsity games is slightly above your average high-school. Typically there are more or less than 100 fans attending and with full support for their fellow athletes at major events. There is a moderate to high level of school spirit at Stonehill. The purple-and white games (games designated as THE game to attend for the season) may have more support depending on the day of the week that the game is held. Stonehill varsity athletes are well-regarded and they work very hard and put it all out on the field. Lacrosse, rugby, field hockey, soccer, and basketball are perhaps the most popular sports here in terms of fan support.

4 College Freshman

Nightlife: The best place to go is the Courts - the parties are great and the people mostly accept non-drinker party animals.

3 College Freshman

Diversity: Stonehill can be generally identified as a campus full of very genuine, friendly and accepting students. There are really no cases of intolerance here. This applies to the professors and faculty as well. However, Stonehill is pretty poor in exhibiting a diverse array of students. A majority of students on campus are white upper-middle class preppy-ish B+ (mostly female) students. Although Stonehill has gotten much better over the years in terms of increasing diversity on campus, it is still one of the worst aspects of Stonehill. Campus ministry has done an amazing job at encouraging spirituality without being too pushy. They have weekly masses at the many churches on campus and there are spirituality events that are accepting of students of all religious affiliations.
