The dining hall at Owings Mills has good and mediocre days. This area includes a salad bar, burgers, chicken sandwiches, French fries, personal pasta, pizza, and a sub station, as well as two other stations that rotate food selections. This dining hall closes at 7:30 p.m., which can be frustrating. To make up for the early closing, Pandini's, a small Italian eatery, is open until 11 p.m. Pandini's serves delicious pizza, pasta, and subs, dine-in or take-out style. The Greenspring campus has a Subway-style eatery, as well as a dining area with burgers, sandwiches, and other lunch options. The dining program develops each year; administration is currently talking about expanding the meal plan to cover local restaurants within walking distance of the Owings Mills campus.
The campus dining services really listen to student input and suggestions. There is a bulletin board in the Rockand Dining Hall where students can ask questions, make requests, and get answers. The staff is always very friendly and open to suggestions. There are many options for vegetarians, people who keep kosher, and people who have special diets. The staff is more than welcome to explain the ingredients in a dish for students and can sometimes whip up an alternate dish if the student cannot eat a certain ingredient.
