College Student

Majors: I'm enrolled for the Fall of 2014. I would have no idea what it is like yet.

College Student

Nightlife: Like I said before in previous reviews, I enrolled for the Fall of 2014. I would have no idea what the night life is like.

College Student

Weather: I don't live on campus. As a matter a fact I'm going to going to the university in the Fall of 2014.

College Student

Transportation: Um, like I said before I really can't say anything because I've only visited the school several times and took the shuttle bus once.

4 College Student

Academics: My opinion is really only from multiple visits to the campus, so.I really don't have anything else to say.

4 College Sophomore

Majors: I have not had an internship, but some of my friends have and they are usually asked to come back for a second one and future job placement.

4 College Sophomore

Majors: The business advisors are the best people ever. They care so much about you and your needs.

1 College Sophomore

Nightlife: Terrible nightlife. Nothing close. Only in the city. Don't even bother if you're underage.

College Freshman

Greek Life: There isn't really any fraternity or sorority's on campus

3 College Freshman

Athletics: I didn't attend a lot of football games but i did attend a few basketball games and the basketball games are normally packed I'm not completely sure about the turnout for the football game. The biggest sport here is the mens varsity lacrosse team

College Freshman

Diversity: The diversity on campus isn't really major here. If anything there are more caucasians, and then its the African Americans and that's about it.

College Freshman

Drug Safety: Drugs aren't really used on campus, people tend to go off campus and smoke marijuana. Alcohol on the other hand is used on campus I'm not sure how often but it is used.

3 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: Me being from Maryland i already know what goes on here in this city. Its not really city its more like a rural area and we are kind of away from some things but there is always stuff to do in Maryland.

5 College Freshman

Health & Safety: For the most part the food is very healthy and a lot of people don't smoke on campus so that's a big plus. The safety of the campus is very good, they have a officer in every building checking ID's and signing people in making sure that no one just walks in the building and harms people. The security also rides around day and night just checking things out and they also walk around the campus and they go from building to building checking things out. Its very safe on this campus.

College Sophomore

Transportation: I have a car therefore do not have to rely on alternate transportation often.

4 College Sophomore

Computers: Tons of computers are available each with multiple printing options to appeal to each user. Personal computers are very handy for homework, not necessary, but nice so long as you have an ethernet cord

College Sophomore

Health & Safety: I have not had to use this facility as of yet .

College Sophomore

Greek Life: I am not a part, nor have I come in contact with the greek side of campus therefore my answers are insufficient and rumor based

3 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: The school was once a commuter school and still holds onto some of its old ties. Travel is a must however the school does a good job of providing for its students in this sense

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: Its a lot of effort to keep up with the demands each application requires and to put so much energy into a contest you may not win, however it is very rewarding to receive a scholarship

3 College Senior

Off-Campus Dining: Very limited and finding a good vegetarian meal is a difficulty

4 College Senior

Drug Safety: I have never seen another student doing drugs on campus. The only ones I have seen drinking are over 21.

College Senior

Campus Housing: I have never lived on campus and therefore cannot rate the quality of it

3 College Senior

Diversity: There is quite a bit of diversity on campus but it seems like most come from a similar economic background.

4 College Senior

Health & Safety: I have never felt unsafe while attending class on either of the Stevenson Campuses.

Stevenson University offers students a great experience, both academically and personally. However cliché it may sound, the school really is like a big family. The teachers develop close bonds with their students that just cannot be found at other schools. Even though the school is growing in leaps and bounds, the closeness of the school will never be gone because the administration actually cares about students' futures. There is a good reason this school is the most up-and-coming University in the state of Maryland: the people are great.

Stevenson University offers students an opportunity to grow. However, it is important to note that the University gives students back only what the students put in. It is possible to attend Stevenson University, do "just enough" to graduate, and get a job. It is possible to try "just enough," and just be another student in a desk. However, students like this usually drop out in the first year. Why? This University is designed for people who want to push themselves and help push each other to succeed. "Just enough" isn't good enough for most who attend here. Students join societies and clubs, stand up for their beliefs and passions, dedicate their time to learning outside of the classroom, and earn the University the reputation it proudly holds today.
