Stevens-Henager College is the perfect school for a variety of students, from those just graduating high school to those returning after working for a few years. It holds both day and evening classes to fit everyone's schedule. SHC offers degrees in medicine, graphic arts, computers, and business that are taught by professors who love what they do.

SHC believes in continuing education. The staff here will work day and night to make sure that you succeed, and the provide tutoring and career assistance. In fact, SHC has a designated Student Sucess Center. In this office, you will find round-the-clock tutors and counselors.

One great thing about SHC is that the school sets your schedule. Your classes are strictly what you need for your degree. So, no pointless, elective classes! And, you only have two classes per month (a month is also called a "mod" here). The day classes start at 8 a.m. and run to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. Evening Classes are from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

The professors at SHC are educated, fun, and dedicated. The teachers put in many extra hours every mod to make sure that the students recieve everything they need to know for a class in the eight weeks it runs. The teachers give you their personal e-mails as well as phone numbers so that you can ask for help or let them know if you have any cituations coming up.

Student/Professor Relationships
Professors at SHC love to get to know their students. All professors at the Boise campus are outgoing and very excited about teaching. The student-teacher relationships are both professional and personal, to some degree. You are able to interact with your teachers, but you aren't allowed to "Facebook" them. School policy forbids it until graduation.
Testing & Grading Procedures
The submission and grading of your assignments is processed through SHC's Angel Web site. You log into this site after your are registered at the college, and this is where you receive, submit, and receive grades for your assignments. The weighted distribution between tests, discussion forums, and participation are all determined by your professors.
Typical Lecture - Single Day
A typical class period ranges from hands-on activities to PowerPoint presentations. Class content really depends on your degree program, though. For example, medicine programs offer real hospital rooms with life-like dummies to practice on. Computer classes have great power points.
